Over the past few decades, it has become quite obvious that humans are not the only living organisms with intelligence.
The story of intelligence you are about to experience goes back 13.8 billion years, back to the moment the universe was born: the Big Bang. It’s a story of time and space, matter and energy. It is a story of unfolding, It’s the story of how the very nature of the physical universe from its very inception led to the universe getting to know itself and eventually, to reflect.
Complexity, Evolution, and Intelligence is comprised of five parts, each corresponding to a movement in Dan Forrest’s “Requiem For The Living.” This composition was performed August 2, 2013 in Raleigh, NC by Bel Canto, conducted by Dr. Bill Young.
Complexity, Evolution, and Intelligence was selected as the Best Educational Film at the Cannes World Film Festival, January 11, 2024; it is an Official Selection at the 2024 Berlin Lift-Off Film Festival; and it was a Finalist at the 2023 Raw Science Film Festival.

Done. Revised version will be posted later today or tomorrow. Thanks again. It was written correctly in my script; somehow I misspoke. Good catch.

Something tells me we really don't know how the universe started. Yes the universe is expanding, but does that mean there was a big bang?

Yeah? where is this soul at? Oh, and Plato lived in the time of Zeus, ANOTHER dead god. Just so you know, your quote isn't as clever as you think it is.

@@OceanusHelios I think it is very clever and true. It is at least worth thinking about. If Plato had been an atheist, that big brain of his would have yielded nothing worth remembering.

@@trollemctrollersen Einstein, Bertrand Russel, Steven Hawking, Jean Paul Sarte, Sigmund Freud, Simone de Beauvoir, Richard Dawkins, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Jeremy Bentham, Margaret Sanger, Simon Blackburn Robin Cavendish and Peter Singer. A list of big brained atheists who yielded a great deal of writings well worth remembering. Its a well known sociological fact that the more educated someone is the less likely it is that they are religious. Religion has only ever stood in the way of intellectual progress. There was a bishop in Galileo's time that wanted to ban mathematics from Christian countries. And I could go on. Plato is an important read but you do realize that there has been 2500 years of philosophical development since his time.

It'd be great if people who don't know physics reserved judgement until they graduate.
