@@BRBallin1 This is not a well thought out comment from you. Bill Gates is the perfect example of an extremely successful technology pioneer and yet what he's doing in the second chapter of his life is more defining than the first chapter. The man is well on his way to eradicating Polio worldwide and has given $100bn to charity. Another great example Andrew Carnegie à wealthy industrialist who is known for the second chapter of his life than the first. We today enjoy his libraries and halls he built. i had to come back to this video after what happened to Kobe, so sad he won’t be here to improve those 20 years he was talking about in here. At the same time, watching this now and hearing what he said has a complete new meaning. He will be remembered as a legend on and off the court and one of the greatest competitors to ever live.

I see Kobe's influence in Kendrick when rapping. He's very competitive and isn't really trying to be friendly with his competition..

You can see the admiration Kendrick has for Kobe. He is literally in a fan state while absorbing everything Kobe says. RIP The 🐐 Mamba

Kendrick is absolutely right about Kobe last game. I was there, and when he said you really didn't know what was happening, nobody in the building really knew what was happening. I remember the first 13 points, and then I looked up and he had 53. So much energy in the building. It was incredible. Kobe is the GOAT.

WithGodayo oo Compton being 15 minutes from LA doesn’t make somebody not from Compton. Two places being 15 minutes from each other does not make them the same place. What even is your point?

13:22 notice the little smile on Kendrick’s face when asked if he’d ever have a signature line of shoes. You can tell his Cortez Kenny line was in the works back then.

Damn my man was preparing and looking forward to his next 20 years. Hearing him say these things makes his passing even tougher to take. The way he lived his life will continue to influence others for generations to come. Rip Mamba

I didn't notice this before, but at 6:54 when Kobe starts talking about darkness and past experiences to fuel his drive, Kendrick's head snaps to look at him and agreed with an "exactly". Dealing with childhood trauma and dark vices in order to move forward was the central theme of his next album Mr. Morale and theres a chance this was the genesis of that idea. RIP Kobe

Great to see Kendrick letting Kobe speak first out of respect for his elder, but when Kobe speaks you can see Kendrick thinking, "yup.. spoke on that in DAMN, yup.. fear, love, pride used those as song titles. Between all his albums, Kendrick has turned the mindsets and thoughts of greatness and great people into lyrics and music for every human to hear and dissect.

I got chills when Kobe spoke about the next 20 years. He unfortunately never got to live 20 more, but he made the most out of the time he was here being a great father, husband, and icon to so many. RIP to all those killed in the helicopter crash, with peace and comfort to all who were affected.
