Being a KZbinr's girlfriend is the HARDEST thing to adjust to. You reaaaaallllyyyyy have to love your partner and support what he does. Matt (Toasty Bro) puts in so much time and effort, and there's so many times where I just want to sit and spend time with him, but he has a deadline or a project that needs to make it up on time. I love him to death, but sometimes it makes you wish KZbin didn't require so much. And I think the smaller channels understand this so much more in the beginning of their channel, because it takes 3X the effort for the views they get. I'm so proud of all of you though!! You work your butts off and I know it's hard. Keep it up :-)

yeah man, KZbin is a grind. Some of the videos we post I look back and see things I could have buffed out and perfected, and that wears on you as a creator. It is hard to be consistent and hopefully one day me you and all of the other aspiring tech KZbinrs can make it to where we don't need to stress the other things and be able to focus on this passion of ours that we spend late nights on.

Greetings from Sweden! First on all, great channel, found some very helpful videos of yours and I really appreciate it, I subbed instantly hehe! I hope you will keep up your great work! Anyway, I fully understand you man, the whole thing about KZbin being time consuming, and yes it can easily become an "obsession" that takes over your life, which makes you sacrifice friends, family etc. I think people that never tried running a KZbin channel may never fully understand this issue. In fact, I actually started my first YT channel ever around 6 months ago about VR and Mixed Reality gaming on PC, and I kind of started simple, but since 3 months ago i have gone "all in" with expensive equipment, green screen, new hardware etc. Some videos can take up 5-15 hours to create now, just as you mention. In the end its all about trying to create quality content. Im still tiny only having just above 2k subs, but Im getting somewhere at least... ;) Anyway, the point here is that I decided to go 100% into it, and even thou I dont regret it, I can already now feel that Im sacrificing a lot of my life for this. Well, yes besides KZbin I work full-time as a security guard, but thats not the problem here. The problem is that the social time with friends and g/f is kind of limited nowadays. I live with my girlfriend (been together 13 years now), and even though she fully understands my hobbies (I have a few hehe) and she accepts them, I still feel bad sometimes not giving her enough attention and quality time. Its a sad thing pushing people aside just because we want to put more and better videos up, but at the same it´s hard to control this feeling, as I know how fun and entertaining it is to create and publish YT content. Somehow, after 6 months of doing this, Im starting to realise that to become a successful KZbinr, without destroying your social life, is to create some kind of balance. At least 2 days a week should be se for "outside of KZbin", and thats 2 days a week without thinking of KZbin, without planning, recording etc... Those two days are for you to concentrate on your girlfriend/wife, and your friends. At least I think that could help to at least keep you social life going, and make your girlfriend or wife happy. This way you will show her that SHE IS worth that time - more than anything else. Well, at least thats how I am going to handle my issues now. I'm really not in a position to speak from the perspective to speak from a huge KZbin (I'm a really small one lol) but balancing my schoolwork, sportsteams, family, and KZbin channel has been extremely difficult. all of my friends who had KZbin channels stopped uploading about a month into the school year and they always ask me how I'm able to get a video out each week. I will say that watching my channel grow and seeing reactions to my content has been an extremely rewarding experience, it's just a big time commitment

I am in a similar situation. I work 60 hours a week and am married with two kids and struggle to find the time and money for a KZbin channel. I would love to do it I even tried to but even working two or three hours a night on KZbin was too much for my family time. It's something I'm just not willing to sacrifice at this time. Maybe one day but keep working hard. I love your content.

I've been into tech and Gaming since the late 70s/early 80s. had a small Comp tek business going on, had a couple other guys building, testing, etc( besides my full time Airline Maintenance/Technical services job, Canada's largest ). I'm retired from both . this past year or so I was really thinking about setting up a channel here for tek and gaming. But i tell ya its pretty sad how things are. besides the negative immature comments of most, I could not even give input on things , especially the higher sub channels. I've been blocked, muted etc by these so called know-it-alls. pretty damn sad I'd say. So now i'm at the point why bother trying to help or teach anyone here. And yeah they are all broke, not making much ..then they're building a new studio. Must be a big payday from their sponsors. cant fool be boys. But hey CompTV..
