I watch to listen the podcasts because English is not my first language; watching needs attention and I could get more of what you say by watching. Conan one time thanked Samsung TV to show his clips on its TV…I want to let him know this is how I got to know him. Every time I turned on the TV to cast KZbin from my iPad to the tv, Conan shows popped up. I used to simply ignore it but one time I stayed on to watch then I got hooked. I went back to watch the old shows every day to have a laugh. I am now a subscriber.

I do both listen and watch! I listen while I’m driving or working, when I’m not able to look at a screen. But also because it’s released in its entirety while the video is multiple clips uploaded at different times. But then I also want to see all their faces and reactions to the the things they talk about so I also watch all the clips. And for the really funny bits I watch multiple times. I’d love to have tue full episodes released on video all together too though.

Apparently I was born face-up, which causes a lot of smashing of the face and I guess I looked pretty rough and beat up, eyes swollen shut, etc. I only know this because my aunt (who was 14 at the time) told me she remembers seeing me and saying "Oh, I'll always love you no matter how you look"

Awww that’s really sweet of her at that age. I saw my niece 5 minutes after she was born, and all I could think was wow, you look like you’ve had a very confusing rough day. She looked so exhausted and pissed off lol. I was born over 2 months early, and my dad constantly told me I was an ugly alien when I was born. I’ve seen the pictures; I was definitely underdone, my poor newborn self 😂

I've only gone to spotify and listened to part or all of a podcast ep like... 4 times ever? I've watched 100s and 100s of clips on this youtube channel. Definitely some of us watch more than we listen, Adam! Great Mark McKinney / Kids in the Hall "crushing your head" reference by Conan in this one, I wonder if he was paying homage intentionally or if it was just subconscious (for those who don't know, Conan got his start on Late Night because of Lorne Michaels, who was also a producer of Kids in the Hall).

I like podcasts but I'm always surprised that the numbers are huge compared to video for a bunch of things. I get it tho because podcasts while commuting to work, working out, or in background while working is way easier than video. The visual antics and reactions by everyone is part of the comedy with these chums so it's still crazy to me that a lot of people prefer to miss out on that.

I appreciate that you guys had to record a segment when you didn't expect to. It's like that time when I was watching a video from Connor when he was doing the show from the Largo and it was late - like 2 am, couldn't sleep, but Connor always engages and makes me laugh. Truly needed always but during 2020-21 especially. Honestly thank you. But I digress. On this particular show, Connor asked for photos for the audience and I knew I had to get mine in quick. 2am to probably 4am, moving furniture, doing lighting, finding the right outfit and look, and I got the best photo. It was the best because I don't miss an episode and I know. I've seen the "audience." Aside from Andy, my photo would have been the best thing in the audience. But I don't hold a grudge. I wouldn't even bring it up. Wouldn't mention it. Anyway, I honestly do get a lot from these clips but also from the actual podcast Connor O'Bryan Needs a Couple of Friends. Truly. Anyway, say hey to Andy for me.

i only watch on youtube 🙋‍♀ But that's because i'm just learning english and is easier for me to look at the movement of the lips to understand certain words, pronunciation is tricky, and there are a lot of words i don't know yet, so seeing the overall gestures helps me to understand them better

I'm sure the reason we only get clips and not full video is that they don't want to spend that time and effort getting someone to do that as a full time job. Might take more than one person, too.
