Reid plays their vanilla play calling during the regular season, he has a whole other level of play calling in the playoffs. The Chiefs will be as healthy and well rested as they can be at this point. Spagnola will have all sort of exotic looks, stunts, etc... It might be close in the first half. acho is not paying much attention to who the texans just beat (chargers) and how they matched up to the texans as opposed to how the chiefs matches up with them. the chargers do not have the amount of threats and weapons as the chiefs, herbert is not mahomes and chiefs defense is better than the chargers. the key for the texans is getting to mahomes. if mahomes is focused and gets protection then the texans have a problem on their hands. and furthermore the chiefs beat them handily a few weeks ago. mahomes is not going to throw any pick 6s, the texans secondary has kelce dhop worthy and hollywood to deal with and chiefs have a better run game than the chargers

Same argument works for the other team: "Advantage Chiefs because they already got used to Stroud." Not saying Chiefs shouldn't be concerned. Every team should be concerned about their next opponent because it only takes one loss. I'm positive Andy coaches for this else the Chiefs would not have been so successful. They're not stiff from "resting." They're not under-estimating. And they are not unprepared. Love how he ignores that Patrick Mahomes is the poster boy for "it."
