If the "cold storage" ice crystals aren't spawning for you guys, then it means you have to go back to Bonenose and finish the dialog to progress the quest. You should see both "Lone watcher" located (optional) and "cold storage located" in your quest tracker. If you don't see these, you will not get the crystals.

For Aromatic Fish Oil just fish up any two fish and use them to turn them into the oil. No need to go to Zuldazar and buy the oil from the vendor. For Small Flame Sac and Swiftthistle go to Dire Maul. Both items drop from mobs in the instance and since it's instanced no competition. Just leave and reset until you get them. The Small Flame Sacs drop from Eldreth Darters which are in Dire Maul west upstairs. Usually 2 to 5 of them. For Switfthistle just about any plant mob drop them in DM west and DM Warpwood quarter.

went to DM, did it 10 times, got 9 sacks, sold em for 3200 each, and they sold faster than i could pop em on AH. price dropped from 20k each to 2,5k each in an hour.

​@@ForuMxHavok Make sure you go to Dire Maul West. There are 3 entrances to DM in case you're not familiar with it. You want the entrance on the west side of the quad. In that area are several Eldreth Darters located on the upper floor of the entrance area (above the big tree boss). The ramp up to the top area is to the right of the tree boss. The number of Eldreth Darters varies but there always are at least 2 and I've seen 5. Drop rate is not 100%. It took me several runs to get 1. If you don't find one leave the instance , right click on your player icon and "Reset All Instances". Go back in and try again. While you're in there kill all the tree mobs as they can drop swiftthistle. There are even more tree mobs in DM East whose entrance is on the east side of the quad. As far as I know DM North has no Eldreth Darters or tree mobs.

Ultra pedantry here but /tar is technically quicker ;) Also Argent Crusader’s Tabard lets you teleport to the tourney which is very nearby for Hrothgar’s Landing, and maybe do some dailies whilst up there for some Champion Seals if not bored to death olf that already. Note for the ice crystal I did not need the torch. Oh, and your guides are excellent examples of KT (Knowledge Transfer).

Beware, the drop rates are completely inaccurate on wowhead for some items. I leveled my skinning from 0 to 300 on Scalding Whelps, and Sprite Darters, but didn't find a single Small Flame Sac. I waited for a slightly less insane price in the AH and just bought it.

I am very annoyed. The small flame sac is impossible to farm. Over crowded with poor drop rates. I've been to several places and the whelps/darters don't spawn there anymore. Auction house is selling them for 5k each. Come on blizzard...why make getting quest pcs take hours and hours to get.

You can easily find 2-3 when doing Dire Maul West, (west side entrance from the colloseum in DireMaul), do not go down to the first boss, but enter from right, upstairs, get onto ridge above the boss and you will find at least five fairy dragons flying (they are in group with mages), kill those and I guarantee you a small flame sac drop. Happy hunting!
