Hello ladies and gents. A couple of points. . . Having given it some further consideration, I think the ASI probably was reading correctly. In the Colimata Concorde, I have gotten used to being up at 60,000ft by the time I hit the US coast and hence a lower IAS will equate to Mach 1.6. I also feel I could have been a little more explicit regarding the autopilot: It did on occasion do some strange things, i.e. spearing off on the wrong heading, putting the aircraft into unusual attitudes etc. As you'll have seen in the video, it can be managed to get the aircraft from A to B, but it certainly still needs some work to make more reliable etc. As always in MSFS though, this could be a sim issue as well as an aircraft issue. . . Cheers everyone! : )

Every time a new aircraft comes out, I wait for Into-the-Blue to take out his video and his opinion on it - because I know that it will be the most comprehensive, detailed, fun, and informative review. Watching this I also learnt a lot about the systems, so as always my friend - EXCELLENT REVIEW. Thanks for your dedication and commitment to flight simulation and for providing us the flight-sim community the most brilliant takes on everything new.

Thank you very much once again Shiv, incredibly kind of you to say! I didn't get to cover quite as much of Concorde as I would have liked in this video (skipping over the Flight Engineers panel for example), but I think it was necessary to keep the video around the 1hr mark (and I have to say I was fairly pleased with how it came out overall). I feel very lucky that I get to enjoy one of my passions in a way that others also find useful / entertaining; your comment is very much appreciated! Always my pleasure! Many thanks for the extensive review and for taking the time to make it and share with your followers - watched every minute and loved it! We're working on a few minor bugs and errors for an update next week, and I want to expand the Interactive Checklist so it covers in more detail an entire flight for newcomers. We didn't want to overload Concorde users with too much "stuff" so some IAS bugs and other details were omitted for clarity. It's my intention to bring those in over time, providing more functionality ( especially given the importance of attitude for performance in Concorde ). Lots more to come for Concorde, including better textures and modeling. As always, great flying in your video, thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks very much SimPicks, really glad you enjoyed it! I tried my best to study up ahead of the review (not being all that familiar with Concorde ops beforehand) and whilst I know there were a couple of inconsistencies / inaccuracies, I have to say that I'm happy now know Concorde a lot better and it's been very satisfying reading comments like yours. I used the Colimata Concorde to study up for this vid and loved it! I actually have a more in-depth Concorde outing in X-Plane 11 coming to the channel at some point. I always wanted to try the FSLabs Concorde, but never had the money at the time (and it's a bit too dated for my tastes now). Informative video to give a flavor of what the Concorde was, capped off with a buttery smooth landing at JFK. One would need a stonking tailwind to achieve 37 miles per minute but I’m sure you meant km per minute in which case you get close. I was fortunate enough to travel JFK-LHR on the Concorde in ‘96 and if I remember correctly initial T.O.C. was around FL 500 followed by a very slow cruise climb as fuel was consumed. As T.O.D. was reached we had steadily climbed to FL 575 while maintaining Mach 2.00. Actual airborne time was 3:18 which still blows my mind! I hope DC Designs continues to improve and refine the product in which case I’ll make the purchase. Keep up the good work, ITB!

Thank Wikstrom, for both the comment and sharing your Concorde experience! Must have been brilliant. There aren't too many people that can say they have travelled at Mach 2 - especially not whilst sipping champagne! Haha, not quite sure where I got 37 miles per minute from; I obviously misremembered something I read / heard - perhaps I meant 27, that sounds more reasonable Ok, so the DC Designs Concorde doesn't sound too far off the mark from your experience. Perhaps the Colimata Concorde is a little overpowered instead then (or perhaps I just got "lucky" with the atmospheric conditions on the day). I'm hoping as well that DC Designs will continue to work on Concorde. They have said they will and indeed they've already put out a number of patches / updates. Hopefully Concorde will be given the treatment she deserves going forward. Thanks very much for watching - glad you enjoyed the landing ; ) Cheers!

This is a great review, definitely earned a sub. And finally someone that understands the difference between having the right experience vs an outright "study level" simulation. Anyway this review was excellent, can't wait for more content of yours, the only thing I might add is that I believe the hit and miss autopilot is a sim issue, as all the default planes suffer from similar problems, same goes for the Auto Land. It's a shame Max Climb and Max Cruise were not as realistic as they could be though. Just one more thing, talking as an xbox user sorry to hold PC back, hopefully Asobo sorts out the WASM gauges issue on Xbox soon, so that we can have good airliners and you don't get hold back by devs trying to make things xbox compatible.

Thank you very much Federico! Welcome aboard : ) Hehe, well I try and review each product based on what it's looking to achieve / who it's aimed at - no point deriding an addon for not being "study level" if it isn't trying to be. A lot of people tend to conflate quality / immersion with "study level", but of course you can have one without the other. I suspect you're correct regarding the autopilot, although I see DC Designs have made some updates to Max Climb / Max Cruise, so that's promising. Haha, well it's certainly a shame that the sim's introduction onto the console didn't go quite as smoothly as planned. It's definitely left the Xbox crowd a little bit out in the dry when it comes to addons (and indeed had some unfortunate knock-on effects over on the PC). It's great to see the hobby opening up to a whole new crowd though; once the issues are sorted, it should (hopefully) be a great thing for flight simming in general! So far I’ve watched up to descent and no mention of CG management. I remember when ‘flying’ Concorde circa FS2000 that the FE’s CG management, by pumping fuel aft (or forward) according to flight phase was critical to both safe flight and performance. Hi Keyz, Haha, I remember the old forward and aft transfer switch of the FS2000 Concorde well! I did make a brief mention of my CG management (or lack thereof haha) towards the end of the video. Unfortunately I didn't have time ahead of the review to study Concorde's fuel system. I did try the automated system during the flight, but didn't seem to have much luck there (probably user error). As it is possible to fly the DC Designs Concorde with an egregious CG, I opted to sacrifice a little of realism for the sake of not having the review delayed (until I found the time to study things further). I have since sat down and got things figured out regarding fuel transfers. The DC Designs system seems to work pretty well overall. I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best! : )

You don’t need to scroll. Just hold left mouse button down when direction arrow shows. Also left click on the rotary button and you can increase the units. You need to wait for the nose and visor movement. Great video as usual.

Cheers Dave, glad you enjoyed the video overall! I know that scrolling isn't necessary, but it has always been my preferred option. Clicking on the rotary (to change the units) was a big help though - I had realised this could be done on the altitude selector, but hadn't realised this was possible with the other rotaries. I figured out later on in the flight that the nose down selection was simply delayed; I wonder whether or not that's accurate to the real aircraft though? Thanks for the info! All the best : )

Thanks again for a wonderfull review. Really so tempted to get it as at least froma bit of distance it looks absolutely fabulous and so iconic but i am very afraid that once the novelty wears off that i will hardly fly it since it is such a specialised bird and i still want something like the 414 or Twotter. Gotto say that aproach was so smooth. Do you make practice runs on these exact aproaches before recording?

Cheers Coenraad! Haha, I can definitely see where you're coming from: Concorde is such a beautiful and iconic bird - how could anyone not want it in their sim. . . but indeed, it would be hard to use it as a "regular flyer" haha. I don't usually practice flights ahead of time, but this one I actually did yes. I wanted to get up to speed with Concorde ahead of the review, so I made a practice run in the Colimata Concorde (within X-Plane 11) - there will be a video of that at some point on the channel : ) Cheers as always!

I was only planning to buy the Concorde the month it was released, but right after I did, the 414 came out of nowhere and I knew I had to have it too! :) My uncle has owned several pressurized GA twins I've ridden with him, including the 414, so it was a no-brainer. Still loving both it and the Concorde, as well as the BAe 146 more recently, they all complement each other very well.

For me it's as close to "study level" as I really need, but a few extra details would have been kind of nice to have such as the airspeed indicator bugs like the BAe 146 has. Ah well thanks very much for watching then haha! I try and make my reviews an interesting flight in their own right, such that they aren't "only" reviews. Overall I think that DC Designs have hit a decent level of depth with their Concorde, that probably appeals to a wide market. I completely agree that a few extra details wouldn't go amiss (along with some graphical upgrades) and I gather that DC Designs does plan to continue work on the aircraft - so things like speed bugs etc will probably be added at a later date (DC Designs did specifically mention the future inclusion of speed bugs actually). I'm a big fan of the more old-school jets as well and obviously Concorde in particular is pretty special ; ) Cheers : )

@@IntotheBlueSimulations I grew up in North Bristol, my late father was a Design Engineer for BAC and worked on Concorde, Britannia, Brabazon and others. He used to bring scrap drawings home for me to draw on the back of. I still have some bits of bodywork including part of the Brabazon. We used to suspend our lessons in school when the Concorde engines were tested because we couldn't hear the teacher. I was by the side of the runway in my pushchair to watch 002's first flight. I was stood on the car park at Heathrow for the first British Airways flight. I was a Farnborough Airshow the day the Concorde crashed in Paris. I was at the end of Filton runway when the last ever Concorde (G-BOAF) landed for the last time, I visited it several times, my father was a guide when it was parked by the runway. I watched it rolled into its new home and I visit a couple of times a year. I have lots more stories but I think you get the idea. It is great to be able to fly it in VR now.

Hi Enrik, There are actually 2 rows of gang-barred switches on the real Concorde; there are the "Engine Rating Mode" selectors (T/O / Climb) and there are the "Engine Flight Rating" selectors (Climb / Cruise) - very confusing nomenclature I know haha. The DC Designs Concorde has the latter modelled, but the former seems to have been replaced with a set of engine start switches (presumably for ease of use). Thanks for offering up the info though! Great review - you know vastly more then I do, except that I did once do a short Concorde joy ride on the same departure route as yours, at least until we were abeam Lands End. At that point ours started a gentle 5 deg left turn all the way round till facing Cherbourg where we turned again for Heathrow. We got up to 53500 ft and of course Mach 2 though not for long. I also used to watch concordes from Martin Down, just south of the accel point. So I've a pretty good idea of how they climbed away. On crossing accel the afterburners would light and a steep initial climb would begin, easing off as M1.0 was gently approched. At M1.0 there was very little climbing or acceleration, but both would then gradually increase as the plane got higher and faster. So by M1.7 the afterburners would go off as they were no longer needed. I hope this helps? Watching your review I recon the simulaor did get it right after all. Incidently, on my short flight (less fuel) the effect of the afterburners was really dramatic, especially at takeoff but also on the climb away from FL280. The braking on the runway was also much greater than on any other plane.

A great one to tick off as well - not many people can say they’ve been Mach 2 these days. I’m very jealous haha ; ) That’s very interesting info, thank you. So, seemingly the DC Designs Concorde was correct with its initial pitch up then. As I mentioned during the video, I only really had the Colimata Concorde as a reference (which seems to do most things pretty well) and of course the various real world video I have seen. I did take the afterburners out at M1.7 and I was pleased to see that the DC Designs Concorde continued to accelerate up towards Mach 2 without them (I had thought this would be the flight model’s main downfall, if any). Thank you very much for taking the time, much appreciated! All the best : )

Cool video, thanks for making! :) Maybe the acceleration phase is slow because if you look at the CoG gauge to the right of the chrono, the white arrow should be between the two yellow markers. I think your fuel should be at the back of the plane, not at the front. Too much weight at the front which would also limit the final cruise altitude.
@akaHarvesteR
@akaHarvesteR 2 жыл бұрын
I was going to mention just this. He was nose heavy all through the cruise, so predictably performance was less than optimal. Any control surface deflection is added drag, and Concorde's trim tanks were there exactly for this reason.
@barthandelus8340
@barthandelus8340 2 жыл бұрын
@@akaHarvesteR Exactly right. In this simulation, the pumps can be 'operated by the book' which is my preference, but there is also a auto fuel trim switch where one single switch can throw fuel forward of back easily, and automatically operate the individual tanks. Also overall flight level is dependent on the weather teamperature and actual weight of the plane, so you may not reach Mach 2.04 until halfway across the Atlantic. Just a case of waiting and letting the automatic systems do it's thing. Have to say, the DC Design Concorde is pretty damn good. I miss the FSLabs Concorde in FSX, that was amazing.

Hi Barthandelus, Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed it : ) Indeed. Unfortunately I simply didn't have the time to dedicate to learning Concorde's fuel system ahead of the review (and I was spoilt with a virtual flight engineer when using the Colimata Concorde haha). I was aware of the error at the time, but it was an error on my part nonetheless. I have subsequently been able to sit down and work things out regarding fuel transfers. Having now flown the correct CofG profile, I can say that overall it didn't make a whole lot of difference to the Concorde's performance (it may have saved me some fuel over the course of the trip though). Apparently the main reason I was seeing the degraded cruise alt and Mach number, is to do with an issue caused by Live Weather. An incorrect temperature datum leads to erroneous air temps as one climbs, hence reducing Concorde's performance (so I've read). Anyway, I shan't forgo the correct procedure again, now that I am more clued up on Concorde ; ) Cheers and all the best!

I was indeed Felipe. As I mentioned to Bathandelus, I was aware of the error, but unfortunately it was the one thing I didn't have the time to study up on ahead of the review. I did make mention of this towards the end of the video, but of course it would have been preferable to be using the correct procedures with regards to fuel transfer (although again, I have subsequently found that using the correct procedure doesn't actually make a huge difference). All the best! : )

Haha, well this was actually my main problem: I did try getting the automatic transfer to work during the flight, but didn't have any luck there (I must have been a bit dumb, because it looked pretty easy to operate in theory ha). I have subsequently figured out how to do it "by the book" now though. As you say, the DC Designs Concorde actually isn't bad in terms of what it simulates. I would lover a more high-fidelity Concorde offering, but this will do nicely enough for the time being. Cheers again! : )

@IntotheBlueSimulations
@IntotheBlueSimulations 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter, Unfortunately one area of Concorde I didn't have time to study ahead of the review was its fuel management system. As the DC Designs Concorde does allow one to operate the aircraft with an incorrect CofG, I opted to forgo the procedure. Not ideal of course, but the review probably would have been another week in the making otherwise. I have subsequently sat down and gotten to grips with the thing though haha. I hope that clarifies things a little. Cheers and all the best! : )

@@IntotheBlueSimulations Thank you for the reply. That was a smooth landing. All mine have been a bit more exciting. I'm sure it's been pointed out to you to death now in the comments but your fuel CoG was off which would impact your performance a lot, also on the forums Dean has said that apparently Concorde didn't reach 60k and 2.02 every flight across the Atlantic, very weather dependent. I quite like the fuel management aspect in this. Gives you something to do in the cruise unlike a lot of more modern airliners where once you're at height and in the cruise it's a bit of a snorefest. A fair review overall, has its upsides and downsides which you covered well. I'm quite enjoying this (well I was before my stick died!) but then again I've never flown any other rendition of concorde in other sims. I am enjoying this 'experience' though as you put it, whcih I think is fair. That feeling of cruising along at twice the speed of sound at 60k feet is really quite special and DC have captured that quite well I think. Infact I did my first non-stop Atlantic flight in this model. Kinda odd maybe that I've never done one before with my almost 30 years of flight simming but I get bored with long haul flights I guess. I have done a few ferry style Atlantic flights though with stops in Iceland and Greenland in smaller planes though. I've been operating my Concorde out of Filton (RIP IRL) as it was the nearest airfield to me and also the home of the last Concorde to ever fly. I actually watched her come in for her final landing. Was standing on the road right under the final approach before the runway and she flew almost directly overhead and it was quite an experience. Been aboard a couple of different Concordes in museums as well over the years as well and it's amazing how cramped it feels inside, especially the cockpit. What an amazing plane she was even if it really wasn't very profitable to run. I'm glad I get to fly her virtually. Cheers for the great video as always!

But of course Megadyptes! ; ) If it's any consolation though, none of my landings in the Colimata Concorde even came close XD Haha, it may have been mentioned once or twice yes. . . I was aware of it the time, but alas I simply didn't have the time to study up on Concorde's fuel system ahead of the review (I hang my head in shame. . .). As one can fly the DC Designs Concorde with an egregious CofG, I opted to do that, rather than delaying the review by a week or so. Yes, regarding performance, many other accounts would seem to suggest the same thing. I only had the Colimata Concorde to go off at the time and that thing definitely accelerated more quickly and initially "levelled off" a bit higher (which I think was probably accurate), but then it also had me up at 60,000ft in perhaps too spritely of a fashion (albeit we were over the other side of the Atlantic at that point). Yes, the DC Designs Concorde has its strengths and weaknesses, but the experience is there. I loved hacking along at Mach 2, watching the world go by through my visor. Unfortunately though, speed is like a drug (well I suppose it is also a drug ha); the faster you go, the slower everything else seems afterwards. I don't tend to do much long haul flying either (I think I have made one previous Atlantic crossing in 25 years and that was in the FS2000 Concorde ha) and at first it was like; "ooo, it's nice to be able to cover several thousand miles in a couple of hours" - now that's juuust starting to seem a little bit slow though XD I remember Concorde occasionally passing overhead where I lived. It was never low enough to really "experience" the aircraft, but the silhouette always had a somewhat ethereal quality to it. Sad that she no longer flies, but as you say, at least we can help her to grace the virtual skies. The cockpit is a bit pokey, but I've always loved the aesthetic. It's like looking at a repurposed Apollo 11 command module - so many switches and buttons that I'd never be allowed to press! :D Sorry to hear about your joysitck! At least it's only a broken peripheral that is keeping you grounded this time, as opposed to parts of your body - although I suppose the foot may well have been cheaper to "fix" XD All the best sir! : )

Great video, I have two questions regarding control configuration...1: It look like you somehow activated reheats via throttle motion? Best Regards, Tim
@IntotheBlueSimulations
@IntotheBlueSimulations 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Tim, glad you enjoyed it! Sorry for the very slow reply, just catching up on some comments now. Regarding the reheats: I already had the switches selected on, but they will activate when the throttles are up through the top of their range; come back on the throttles and the reheats will come out automatically. The real Concorde is a little more nuanced than that and I gather that there is a bug with the DC Designs version, such that if the auto-throttle is in, the reheats will come on when they shouldn't. For the reverse thrust: I have a key assigned to "Decrease Throttle". Once the throttles are at idle, by pressing and holding that key, the throttles will move through to the reverse range (the longer one holds the key down, the greater the amount of reverse thrust applied). I hope that helps. All the best! : )

As topgun points out, I think the aircraft will always be kept at an accessible level, but I think it's perfectly possible to straddle the line somewhere and keep both sides happy (particularly in the visual department). I guess only time will tell! All the best! : )

Very nice flight and video! I am not really interested in piloting this kind of plane, but it was a pleasure following you through the different stages of the flight and enjoying the beautiful outside views. That approach was certainly interesting, reminded me more of a fighter jet circling to land than a commercial aircraft. Is this approach still flown today in the real world?

Hi Volker, Thanks very much as always, really glad you enjoyed it! It was good fun for me as well, certainly more entertaining than your average commercial flight and a nice challenge. It certainly looks quite sporty though haha. Cheers! : )

1. IAS Hold on the Right side is a Pitch-based speed hold (like FLC). IAS Hold on the Left side is a Throttle-based speed hold. That's why it didn't work for you. 2. The NAV radio small button indeed switches between Standby and Active. You enter a frequency and then push the button to make it Active. If you don't push the button, you will be using the wrong frequency. That's why it didn't work for you. 3. The rest of the Autopilot issues are limitations of MSFS. Other than that it works exactly as expected. 4. The CRS value for ILS doesn't really have any affect. Since the ILS course is fixed by the sim. 5. I notice you ignored the fuel management completely. While this doesn't have any consequences regarding COG, some of the fuel is not available for the engines unless you move it around. So you can run out of fuel while still showing fuel in the tanks if you're not careful.

Hello Mark, To be honest, as its been quite some time since I recorded the video, my memory is a little hazy but, I will try my best to respond to your points. 1) I agree. I seem to recall, at the time of recording, that the aircraft did not behave in this way (and that DC Designs fixed the IAS Hold logic thereafter). 2) That was what I came to understand but, if I recall correctly, it’s not how the NAV radio on Concorde actually works (there’s no standby channel), hence the confusion. It’s a strange choice from DC Designs, as I can’t think of any aircraft, where the active frequency is “hidden” from you. 3) I can imagine and totally understand. I think I did hypothesise as much during the video. 4) Sure but, it would still be normal procedure to set the correct course. 5) Fair point. I simply wasn’t familiar with the fuel management system, at the time of recording. Not ideal of course but, I did make mention of that fact during the introduction. Thanks very much for your thoughts. I hope that clarifies things on my end a little. All the best : )

Its funny you're following the Colimata standard checklist. I think the most realistic from a procedural point of view (no IRL time on this type obv but having done extensive research and having 100+ hours on Colimata v2.01 with Heritage pack) is obviously the Colimata with the Heritage pack as a lot of the IRL procedures from BA (seen the IRL checklists from BA and read them) matched to the fantastic ITVV videos, Colimata v2.01 for XP11 is the most realistic currently available. I am holding out for FSLabs study level Concorde coming for MSFS and P3D v5 as that is the gold standard for simulated Concorde.

Hi Happy PAPI, I did some research myself (though not as extensive as yours) and it seemed like the Colimata checklist had a lot in common with real world procedures. I also found it to be a great checklist in terms of being comprehensive, but also user friendly. The Colimata Concorde is excellent, though I’ve been away from it for far too long and now it’s too intimidating to get back into haha. I’m very much looking forward to FSLabs bringing their Concorde to MSFS as well! Cheers and all the best! : )

@@IntotheBlueSimulations I actually found PDFs of IRL British Airways Concorde documents including POH, QRH, standard instrument flows and normal/emergency procedures. really did help a lot. The new Heritage Mod (I got the premium version for XP12) is a BEAST! Been tinkering with it for a while now and my squirrel brain melted down and I have never been able to get it in the air. The INS procedures are very different than the regular ones (for one, you have to set the initial position on all three INS CDUs, while in standby, then you have to run the AFCS tests, and then put it into align, then put all three CDUs into remote (first is the CDU you want to use - I use the left seat first, then the right seat, then the aft pedestal), then you enter your first five coordinates, carry on with the CG computer set up (I never got that far!). Needless to say everything now works for the most part, including the AFCS test panel, and the PVS1580 computer and the INS has been rebuilt from scratch. It's pretty insane how much detail is there. Definitely a handful for one person. Even I couldn't get off the ground without messing up the sequencing of the INS setup procedure.

I've seen this performance issue in several add-ons. Not sure why. The Concord definitely climbed faster to cruise than DC models it here.
@IntotheBlueSimulations
@IntotheBlueSimulations 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kaipeternicolas, I did see something afterwards, about Live Weather causing performance degradation. Apparently Live Weather uses an incorrect temperature datum, causing the temperature gradient to be wrong as one climbs. Whilst the above would certainly account for some of Concorde's loss in performance, I still think the aircraft is underpowered in general. Running the same takeoff, at the same weights in the Colimata Concorde, the aircraft chews up a lot less runway. Unfortunately with MSFS, it's often hard to tell whether there is an inherent problem with the sim, or whether the addon just isn't modelled very well - we've seen quite a bit of both to date. Given that high speed flight modelling is still quite new in the sim, perhaps it still needs a bit of tweaking. . . Cheers and all the best! : )

I thought the Concorde cockpit would be more advanced, until I remembered the aircraft is basically the same age as me, therefore the cockpit systems are basically an early 70s design. I don't know why I expected a glass cockpit, and no flight engineer, since, even at its conclusion in 2003, glass cockpits weren't as much as thing as they are now even in airliners, and some 'normal' airliners still had flight engineers on board.
@IntotheBlueSimulations

I think that's actually part of the charm of Concorde Arokh; Like Apollo, Concorde was using 60's technology to achieve a feat that we currently aren't even capable of today - quite amazing! I find these older cockpits so much more interesting / charming than today's EFIS flight decks. There's no doubting that what modern aviation has managed to achieve in terms of design is quite astounding, but a little bit of soul has been lost along the way. . . Cheers and all the best! : )

In the manual it did say that the concorde was occasionally leveled out at around 50000ft when flying heavy so it seems accurate that at 53000ft you were a bit below mach 2. Not sure if this is realistic but at least it seems that it works as intended by the developer.
@IntotheBlueSimulations
@IntotheBlueSimulations 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not entirely accurate, as Max Cruise should maintain speed above all else (even putting the aircraft into a descent if needs be); sounds like the flight level was quite plausible then though. I did see the devs mention as well, that a bug with live weather (where it references it’s temperature datum from) causes the jet to top out earlier, than if you’re simply using a weather preset. Overall I get the impression that it isn’t perfect, but it *is* a solid effort and again, it gets the job done. Thanks very much for the info! All the best : )

Thank you very much sir, I always try my best! ; ) There are of course a number of areas that could be improved upon; but credit where it’s due, DC Designs do seem to have built a relatively solid foundation (really what let’s the aircraft down is graphical issues - which are potentially sorted easily enough and automation - which I would imagine is tied up in MSFS’ issues at the end of the day). Systems wise the aircraft is obviously far from study level, but I do think it’s a genuinely decent effort at creating an “accessible Concorde”. I actually picked up the Colimata Concorde to use as a study tool ahead of this review - and boy am I glad I did! Lovely addon and much more inline with the level of depth I generally look for personally.
