This was a wonderful video to see. Many different prices on condos for buy or rent, excellent and elegant properties. Plus the local scene area was so beautiful to watch people being happy. Many Americans and other foreigners really should be happy that they are able to be part of this. Cebu, is my dream city. Just arrived to Cebu few days ago. 2nd time here. Units in the video look great but If you are in the US,never been here before but are looking into getting a property in my opinion not sure about structural quality but in general the finish and material quality here is not as good as in the US. Pre-covid I got Airbnb in a nice sky rise building IT park. Bathroom needed to be redone just couple of years after building was completed. My parents in law just got their house done in a new subdivision and I'm not really impressed with the quality. Simple stuff as proper drainage angle in the shower is not done correctly, 10% of tile grout is already missing, no ventilators in bathrooms, windows and sliding doors use very thin aluminum that is not cut properly so you see light throught them at the corners and handle cuts.
@AmazingPhilippines12 жыл бұрын
I have seen shoddy workmanship here and in the USA as I dealt with many developers and construction companies for years Anton. I was appalled at some of the things I saw. I have read that 80% of the air circulation ducts in US homes are undersized (who would ever know). An electrical inspector for a couple of California Developers told me the illegal workers they would often hire were given a short lesson on how to wire a house and then given a bonus for finishing houses quickly. When problems arose, it was often past the "warranty" period and the homeowner would basically have to tear the walls down and pay to have it done properly. I have seen basements not use proper nails, triple galvanized or stainless, but only steel nails, which will rust out over time. And the list goes on. The point being it happens all over the world so be careful what you are buying.

I was heading to Bohol in July. I was looking for something to rent for about 10 weeks. I'm rethinking my plan. Bohol has a lot to offer but I'm not sure about finding a long term place there. Our site offices for the new bridge were next to San Remo. I checked out the apartments and wasn't very impressed, nothing like the showrooms. @Amazing Philippines ., Rod, Nice video, in the future please include the parking price or fees in the condos you visit. A lot of property are a little further out and a vehicle is a must have if you're going to buy or rent some of these places. I was renting in Mivesa for over 2 years 20k per month for 40SQM 1 bedroom condo, but the price just went up to 22.2k per month. Also parking space does not come with it (motorbike parking is free), car parking space for rent is about 5k+ per month or if you want to buy a parking slot that will cost you 600-700K pesos (almost a price for a car itself).
@AmazingPhilippines12 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jon and good point. My observations are similar to yours. Parking rentals run from 3=6k/month. Sales of parking spot runs 700K-1.3 million.
