I am so excited. This is my first time and I have admired Eric Whitacre's virtual choir for quite some time. This is seriously a huge honor for me. Thank you all for letting me be a part of such an incredible group. School choir got cancelled and so did all of our performances which was a big blow to me (in a bad way) because I have been in school choir for 8 or more years: I have lost track with all the joy of singing. So to be a part of VC6 is a huge honor and especially now this is what I needed

Hello Eric and wife. I am this kind of soprano, I do not have a lot of experience in chorus. Only with a School Choir since 4 years. My husband, told me that this virtual choir is only for experience singers. But I will do my best to stay in this Virtual Choir, It is my dream. And I think you make the dreams come true. If I do not enter to this 6th virtual choir, I hope to stay in the next. Thanks a lot, from Uruguay!

We are allowed to submit one (1) video recording per voice type. So you can submit one in your Soprano voice and one in your Alto voice. Have fun!

Thank you for this stunning new song.I heard about this new Virtual Choir project from out Choral Director who has participated herself in previous Virtual Choirs.I always thought it was something which I couldn’t participate in but lockdown has made me realise that it is well within my capabilities.I am hoping to upload my attempt before the 22nd May deadline.The music is so lovely and I enjoy singing it even if it is only alongside the tracks recorded for our benefit in the learning process.

I'd say whatever part is most comfortable in your range, and if both are more or less the same in that aspect, whichever one you like best!

SOMEONE HELP for SOP- on measure 33, the music reads as a half note and two quarter rests! But in the vocal track it sounds like a dotted half not and a single quarter rest (??) - which one do we sing for the recording?

If you mean, where you can find the sheet music, you'll need to go to virtualchoir6.com and officially join the choir. Once you have done that, the sheet music with all the parts will be available. I would reccommend going over each part just to see your own range. Which ever part suits you the most, is in your range, or is easier for you to sing, then I would go with that part.
