Cheating is always funny to look back on. In yugioh there was a deck called infernity that worked by having no cards in your hand to activate broken af effects, and to empty their hands sometimes players would set monsters in the spell/trap card zone. If you destroy that card somehow the infernity player would just forfeit the game so they wouldn't get dqed for cheating lol

One time I played against a cheater in Smash 4 3DS for glory who played villager and got 3 turnips on up air and dair every single time. He did probably 30-40 upairs and dairs over the few games we played and every single one gave 3 turnips. Not sure if there was some sort of exploit or if he somehow hacked his 3DS to give him perfect turnip odds.

Been a while since playing Dota 2 but pause abuse was actually surprisingly rare. It's always funny when there's a pause for someone to go smoke though

So the latest Dota major last weekend was in Peru. Whenever a Peruvian team was playing, the audience would start whistling every time the enemy team used a smoke (which hides your teammates from wards until you get too close to an enemy hero) so the Peruvian team would immediately know that the enemy team is coming to surprise attack them.

In Halo Infinite, a lot of people were geo filtering (especially OCE) due to just wanting to play in their own region instead of always playing with Americans

The craziest part about the Bike guy’s case was that he won the actual tournament legitimately (as far as I am aware). And he literally cheated just to unlock the bike.

Pauses usually happen in Smite when the games shitty servers lead to players disconnecting to give the player time to reconnect. It happens all the time. The best part of pausing though is that you can spam your laugh or taunt emotes during the pause and all of the sounds happen at the same time when the game resumes. It's also a thing players vote to do in a menu.

Life wasn’t throwing matches. He was throwing individual games in best of 3/5/7 matches, and then winning the match.

Years ago I had a similar "got hacked but, got the account back better than it was taken" lol. My League account got hacked and I didn't sort it out for like a year or more because I just didn't play the game anymore. A friend asked me to play and fair play to Riot, I sent a ticket and that same day I got the account back. When I lost it my highest rank was like Silver 2. When I got it back I was in Diamond lmao.

Smite just had a cheating incident where a player was using a script to track enemy relic timers. It was literally just a timer for 170 seconds, (3 mins - 10seconds) and yes its thats simple litterally everyone can do this in there head, except this player apparently. you even see the in game timer so its not like its hidden. Anyway this guy got found out because he used it during the recent LAN tournament and uninstalled it, but forgot to empty the recycle bin. The next team came up to play and the player while waiting for everyone to get ready, noticed the script in the recycling bin, notified the tournament advisors.
