I'd love to see coney drive with a dash cam. Surely coney has never had to wait to turn left at an intersection and then the light changes yellow. The dash cam driver probably assumed dominos guy was gonna stop because you know, dominos guys' light should also be yellow and started to turn. The truck in the far opposite lane even stopped, so even more reason for dash cam driver to assume dominos guy would stop. Dominos guy created a situation where dash cam guy had to guess if he would stop or not. Its like how self driving cars cause accidents because the "driver" assumed the car would stop itself. I wouldn't put any blame on the dash cam driver in that situation.

So in the video, the car with the dashcam is stuck in traffic on a two-lane highway. The “lane” on the POV car’s right side isn’t a lane at all, but it’s the shoulder. This “lane” is only used whenever a car needs to pull over and out of the way of traffic, mainly for when a car breaks down or a cop needs to pull someone over. Now, its illegal to drive on the shoulder, even if there is heavy traffic. You just can’t use it as a sneaky shortcut to cut everyone in line. You’ll also notice that a solid white line is separating the driveable road from the shoulder. Basically, you can’t drive over any solid painted lines in the road. You’re only allowed to switch lanes over dashed lines painted on the road. Later on the video you do see an exit lane form, but that’s using a dashed painted line, which does allow drivers to switch lanes. Before that, though, they cannot switch lanes like that. The first red car made that mistake and got pulled over by a cop way up ahead. The second black car tried doing it, but was called out by the POV car. However, the same cop who pulled the red car over then directed that black car to pull over as well for driving on the shoulder. Sorry for the long essay but that’s basically what’s happening. Hopefully my explanation wasn’t confusing. I’m typing this pretty late at night at the moment lol.
