17:19 Kira literally lives in my region. I've gone to a couple Smash tournaments that he's competed in, and let me tell you. Bro is a lot more restrained with the popoffs and rage, but the heart and pure *fire* in his soul is still very much there. There is context that not enough people know about for 2:31 because not only did this come from an ongoing beef (which Scar started), but Buffalo (right) is SIXTEEN during the clip. This is a CHILD and the beef was not only ongoing but Scar is the one who fucking started it. He genuinely deserved that pop off, even if it was cringe, because he was starting shit with someone who literally needed his parents to sign him up for the tournament (for NRS's pro tour events you need an adult to sign you up if you are under 18 since its an M rated game).

I remember on this very small mmo-styled game with leveling up and classes, dungeons and PvP factions thst were player led. I was leading one of these factions and a other guy was leading abother and we would always talk major shit back and gorth during PvP wars. One time me and him were doing PvE content together and people were like wtf i though you guys hated each other. The topic about being surprised things never get more physical, they used to in arcades backk in the day. But on stream with cameras on you if you start swinging that's the last time you'll ever be around in the scene. But on top of that, if you start swinging as the guy who lost and then you lose the IRL too? The shame will never wash off. You can lose in a video game fight and then lose in a real fight too to the same guy.

Krillin's not that bad tbh, he isn't amazing but he has some after image sauce, rock/senzu assist has nutty utility, he has a beam and a solid 2S and his normals are alright. I might be biased tho because most fighterz content I've consumed is Dotodoya stuff and he mains krillin. That said, the entire roster at this point has been been balanced to be at least decent, so there's no real bad characters left in the game imo (aside from frieza but that's another story).

People don't get that the fighting game is the hands and the screaming match is apart of the tournament culture. You can just get weird and diffuse the situation because everyone's a gamer presumably at least those attending that event. Or just get hype and meet it. Playing with a bunch of older brother types made it easily understandable that the mental game is apart of the footwork, the movement, the space control. You can generate a fucking aura in their mind if all you do is pop the fuck off. What King main at a tournament isn't feeling themselves when they get a grab?

And the worst part is that because Tom is a fuel for the ego of his fans, they not only keep watching him and take him seriously, they even still keep supporting him financially. After the 2019 incident, he made an "apology" video while the Twitch donation feature was visibly enabled on screen and some people already donated him money before the video even started. Tom doesn't care about his fans and his fans don't care about themselves either, all they care about is for their ego to be boosted, and that's exactly what Tom is for them, an "ego boost machine".
