I'd kinda like to see an alternative reality version with Hilary Duff because I can't imagine it at all since her characters are almost always wholesome
@gypsywoman91402 жыл бұрын
@@propogandalf At that point in time, would Hillary have been able to play the role? Like you said, she was always so wholesome. Even when Lizzie McGuire was super annoyed with her brother, at most she'd stamp her foot, scoff, and roll her eyes when her brother evaded punishment. (As an older sibling who also went through this on the regular, the scoffing and eye roll were only the beginning of voicing my displeasure at the injustice.) She was still cute. Lindsay could throw a fit, keep it Disney, but still keep it real. Maybe it was her cool voice and red hair, idk, but Parent Trap Lindsay seemed like she'd hurl lightening bolts at her family when she was pissed. Let's see Lizzie McGuire back then pull that off. No shade to Hillary, I'm sad the Lizzie reboot was canceled. But she did not have the Lindsay rage or narcissism for this role back then. If she did, then she's a better actress than I thought cuz she hid it like a pro and I'd like some tips on keeping my anger cute 😅
@poppinc81452 жыл бұрын
@@propogandalf That's because Hillary Duff doesn't have range. She was a factory popstar and whose TV, film and music career were all under Disney. Lindsay's films were through multiple companies, not only Disney, and her music was through UMG and she co-wrote both of her albums which isn't something you can say about most popstars. Even Lindsay's songs about emotional abuse and childhood trauma on her second album "A Little More Personal (Raw)" were ahead of their time, which is why the media/critics at the time mocked her for it but a few years later it slowly became more normal for musicians to touch topics like this.

This was hilarious but your commentary was also speaking the truth. People who lie all the time especially without reason are dangerous, manipulative people. I’m very interested in true crime and a common theme I’ve noticed among murderers is their tendency to lie without hesitation. Casey Anthony (allegedly since was found not guilty), Jennifer Pan, and Andrew Cunananan are all good examples of this. Each of them were compulsive liars before killing people; lying about everything from careers, friends and accomplishments. The fact that “Lola” almost caused a row of lockers to fall on a bunch of girls because she didn’t get her way is actually not surprising. I know this video is super lighthearted but it’s worth it to warn people if you know someone who lies compulsively like this, don’t walk away, RUN. Not saying they’ll definitely kill you but they will manipulate you and use you for everything your worth. Okay, rant over lol
@katherinek33142 жыл бұрын
I dont wanna play devils advocate but most people lie when they don't wanna be caught lol hardly a serial killer thing. I see your point but pathological liars aren't even close to being murderers and it's kinda messed up to compare the two. My exes little sister lied constantly and now she's a normal [ ish] person
@myyoutube30222 жыл бұрын
@@katherinek3314 I’m no expert, just a pattern I’ve noticed in multiple true crime cases. When you say, “most people lie when they don’t want to be caught” do you mean they don’t want to be caught having committed murder? Because I wasn’t referring to people who lied to cover up having killed someone. The people I listed were compulsive liars to those close to them prior to killing anyone. They told multiple intricate lies that lasted for months, sometimes years. For example Casey Anthony lied to her parents and told them she worked as an event planner at universal studios for four years, she would get dressed and pretend to go to work everyday lying to her parents as a grown woman so she could go off and do what she really wanted. Jennifer Pan did something similar, she lied to her parents about going to college and went to great lengths to convince them when she had really dropped out of school. Andrew Cunanan was actually very similar to Lola’s character as he told elaborate lies about being extravagantly wealthy to everyone he met. If you look into these people you’ll find that they lied about many other things as well, it wasn’t just one thing, they lied their ways through life. Regardless, as I said in my last sentence, I’m not saying a compulsive liar will definitely kill you, but they’ll likely manipulate you and take you for everything you’re worth. Basically my point is, people who lie all of the time without any plausible reason or people who lie to get their way and have no issue being deceitful to those closest to them which is dangerous as it shows a lack of empathy for others. Idk how old your exes sister was but if she was a child who liked to play pretend and lie that’s different, I’m talking about people like Lola’s character who will lie and tell you their dad died so that they can gain sympathy from you.
@Catglittercrafts2 жыл бұрын
I can often lie without hesitation but have zero desire or inclination to kill anyone. Lol. I’m also way too lazy to Carry on an elaborate lie where I pretend to have a completely separate life. That seems to be the difference. Compulsive liars, people who can’t help but lie are the red flag imho.

Oh. My… I forgot how obsessed I was with this movie and every single thing about it, but especially Lindsay’s red dress! 💃🏼🤤😍 I still love it so much. I am absolutely over the moon that you made this video, thank you lovely 🧡🧡

Lucas combining two different lines from I Did Something Bad by Taylor Swift is such a mood. I always end up in a different verse from where I started😭😂

I’m so glad you did a video on this movie. Your commentary is hilarious. I watched this so many times as a kid. The clothes Lola wears hold up, but the movie definitely doesn’t lol.

In Spain this film was called “I want to be super famous”, fits her behaviour more than the original title 😂

I just saw that sidekick girl in a horror show from Prime Video and she's good. I mean she's the villain and she's terrifying.

I recognize her from other stuff too but have no idea what her name is

I meeean if Lindsey has a podcast now, her making more music isn’t too far fetched!

No offense Lucas but instead of looking up "oh ohhhh, oh oh ohhh-" you should just look at the movie soundtrack lol. I've made that mistake so many times in the past.

Now that I'm watching this as an adult I wonder if the Lola has BPD, she reminds me a lot of a friend I had in high-school.

Iconic video. I do want to remind you though that chronic back pain is quite common and can be why many people stand up on the plane…sitting puts 3x the amount of pressure on the spine. The more you know.
