im in the middle of a entry to networking class. the teacher goes far too fast while running around helping other students for me to even ask any questions i have. at some point during the lesson he said that the 2nd and 3rd router needed their own network, but i totally missed that and was completely lost afterwards when he mentioned that i should put in a .6 for the ip of the 3rd router...even tho the subnet was a /30. he soon after ran to another student in need. i was lost for the rest of the class... thank you so much for this video. you gave me what i need to not seem like such a dumb ass for tomorrow lol.

Chef could you look at 12:35; You have written there 192.198. instead of 192.168. Nobody ask you that in the comments? So we have a false IP address there, why does ICMP work at the end?

Thank you so much, I was having a tough time on the IP routing part. thanks again.

Thank you for the step by step explanation very helpful you just save my ass because I was stuck in making those routers' pcs communicate with each other, especially the further ones and you make it simple just follow the steps I had two networks from one router but I was able to make them talk each other. my clients will be happy now and my scores too.. I am a new student so that may make it difficult but I am getting it practice practice..Thanks a lot!!

In my version of Packet Tracer, the green dots appear as green triangles. I see in your video (and others on KZbin) that there are green dots. Is there a difference?
@ingridalavrinovica66382 жыл бұрын
Hello! There is no actual difference as long as they are green and all the connections are set up correctly. :)

In middle router you put 192.198 but it'll be 192.168 that's why it shows failed.

you entered class A subnet as 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.0.0.0
@AbdulAhmed-gx2rh5 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial. Thanks mate.
@siddharthtadury56127 жыл бұрын
sir why you are taking subnetmask 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.0.0.0?
@ZakFive37 жыл бұрын
CIDR: means any IP can take any subnet mask.Here it is /24.I think i'm right.
@mayurdate63086 жыл бұрын
@@ZakFive3 yes correct. Since he has used /24 network it would be 255.255.255.0. if you use default or in other words /8 network then it will be 255.0.0.0.
