+ZZ Stop Funny thing is though, on the other video you can see all the slides but when the speaker moves too far toward the slide it's harder to hear him. Maybe we need both talks?

I agree. Was disappointed that he didn't show the slides, especially with what he found. Wheels of children's toys? Would have been very interesting to have seen biblical parts of toys and just in general WHAT was on the slides period! When talking about what was found in Sodom and Gomorrah period would have been very interesting to see? Wonder why slides weren't shown. I was expecting it. Should do this over and show us what was found. Would have made it more interesting as we would like to see too, not just hear. Blessings 📖➕

Isn't there a version of this video where the slides are shown instead? I'm dying to see the slides and not seeing what's on the slides just gets me frustrated. Anyway, at 13 minutes I had to bail out 'coz it's obvious the videographer isn't going to show even a tiny bit of the slides. This would have been really interesting, Collins is a compelling and convincing speaker but there are details in his lecture that are filled in by the slides rather than just by his speech. Sad. And for not doing a good job at filming and video-documenting this lecture, I have to give you a thumb down. Sorry. A half done job is still a poor job.

The fact that Sodom and Gomorrah may have existed it doesn't mean that evolution is wrong and creationism is right. It is just the discovery of an ancient city that was described con the bible.

+JL Hunter I understand how people can have doubts in their minds. We are all being taught everything that is against God. But, God placed himself in us. We know him already. A good example of that knowing is that folks are on KZbin searching Him out. That's wonderful and inspiring. I have a couple KZbin suggestions, besides Dr. Collins. Look up THE BIBLE: TIME TO CHANGE YOUR MIND by KEYTOTHEBIBLE. There is a butterfly picture on the program. It's really great. All of the KEYTOTHEBIBLE videos are. Also, look up KEN HAM. He has the Creation Museum in Kentucky.

Though I feel Dr. Collins methodologies were sound regarding the archaeology and textual findings I do believe that it does not change the context of cause and effect. Prosperous communities that the proto-Israelites most likely didn't get along with are destroyed by a natural phenomenon they don't understand then attribute to their deity(s) . The rationale that they found Troy , Achillies real doe not hold water. There is trinitite found in Tut-Ankh-Amun's tomb that was worked from deposits in the Southern Sahara where a air burst also occurred tens of thousands of years ago.

Look it up for yourselves… sounds nice but when you change the wording to the Bible it isn’t history any longer. Translators are so careful with the Bible translation because it can change the meaning behind scripture. Read the verses in the Bible & do some research & what they have found at “the other side” of the Dead Sea. The site he said that couldn’t actually be “it” …the city was stated to be turned to “ASH” …the whole city… no gates, no ppl , no jars, nothing… it ALL was turned to Ash from the words of the Bible that he supposedly uses on his research. You can’t take some words & not the others at your will to make fit into your research. It doesn’t work that way.
