For a supposedly intelligent business woman, OP really blew it. Once she confronted Kelly outside the spa, she should have taken her directly to her Mother/Father and dealt with it. Giving Kelly a second chance was ridiculous. 😻😁😻

I think Kelly was making withdrawals from an ATM at a gas station. Probably one she knows that doesn't have a camera around it.

Right, OP... tell us you're not a liar without telling us you're not a liar. Every ATM has cameras, even at 7-11. That and your own father still hired her. If you need to be mad at someone, be mad at dad.

She didn't say 7-11. There are plenty of low-rent gas stations with ATMs that don't have cameras. Ask any hooker, they'll tell you where to find one.

Should have put cams in the office to have rock solid proof from the get go. Should have covered your butt in the first place. When you are dealing with someone who has proven their a thief... hell she should have recorded that confrontation and just emailed the pic and confrontation to herself for emergency use... then she could have gone and deleted the photos and recording in front of her so she didn't know you have a backup. That friend is the hero of the story... I hope op can say... I am going to trust you to people in the future and still CYA just in case. It is okay to protect yourself. I think all the relationships require some repair now. Her parents really fractured trust... they should have put cameras in the office as well. BTW... they could have tracked it by who had the card when and was out on delivery. OP was on camera at the store during at least one of those times. (Most likely anyway... if the cam records over and they do not have a cloud system... that is just careless. Clouds are important in case of emergencies where cams are distroyed... fire, water... theft... the whole shabang. )

Business is business. Never combine business matters with family matters. From my experience, if there is a problem, ALWAYS have a witness to conversations. Just saying. It saves a lot of headaches. It's sad that the OP's parents would not listen to her when she had worked all those years, and nothing had been missing all those years. I am glad the OP got her job back, but maybe put security cameras in. It is the 21st century. Good luck, OP.

People are saying the ATM camera thing is proof this is fake, but there are legit ATMs without cameras. However, I'm pretty sure it's a legal requirement that you can't start an LLC without at least 1-2 members who aren't related to the rest. That doesn't stop family businesses from existing, the other shareholders are usually behind the scenes. But in a case like this, they should have been involved. Granted, that might just be in my state. I don't know if it's a federal thing.

Family is toxic and OP is too naive and dependant. I would have had everything recorded in the first place, but even if it got to the point where i was framed I would have exposed the truth and left the business. Everyone in this story other than the friend are just disappointing.
