The reason you need to write your goals down often is to memorize them and be aware of your actions, thoughts, and decisions throughout the day that will make you do things based on whether whatever you're about to do; will it bring you closer to your goal; if you don't, then you're giving your attention, time, and energy to everything else but your goals. Very simple, yet powerful.

For a guy that got a start working on a used car lot as a 20 something kid ( with a huge college debt) and then he made Goals... and learned from others ( one was Jackie B Cooper - " Will that car fit in your garage?" ), how to become Great at Sales ie. How to sell more cars than any of his fellow workers and started saving 40 % of every dollar he made for 5 years before he launched into buying an apt building (385 K ) ( after a failure at buying a single house 70 K to rent), now today his net worth is 600 Million and owns real estate all over USA.

"They're not buying because the price is too high? The first thing I'd do is raise my prices... People don't buy things because the price is too high." Absolute genius stuff right there. Man is an absolute legend. I mean, who among us has even once *not* bought something because the price was too low rather than too high? I mean, wouldn't we all go out and buy an S Class right now except for the fact that the price is too low? If only they'd raise the price another $100k I'm sure we'd all be racing for the dealership. Genius stuff.
@scottjackson8048
@scottjackson8048 2 ай бұрын
@@mmartel You not being able to afford something doesn't translate to "the price is too high". He's referring to the objection, of the "price is too high, which really means the price is too high for THAT!" If they raised the price of an S Class by $100k... They would become more of an object of desire then. Look at Range Rover... price keeps going up but people still want a Range Rover.
@mmartel
@mmartel 2 ай бұрын
@@scottjackson8048If GC were referring simply to luxury goods where price is part of the status symbol/wealth-signalling value of the product, he would have said that. With all goods and services, price may or may not be an accurate signal of value - take GCs courses for example which are ridiculously overpriced relative to their value. But asserting that higher prices leads to more sales as a generalized rule is totally bonkers.

It's amazing that he said this because when he was approached with the question and asked to show receipts, he could not produce them. He was also being challenged by a man who is in the league that Cardone wants to be in. Grant was asked if he was actually a billionaire and to prove it and it didn't happen, but rather, he is now suing the guy who asked for receipts. Interesting.
