This is the perfect counsel. I also had both parents , one alcoholic, the other detached and distant, then married an alcoholic who rejected and abandoned me. God used a couple people who came along side me and never left me. I didn't realize it until now that this was why he put them in my life. They are my lifeline. What a good father we have.

Uh oh. That’s why it hurts more now when I try to deal with stuff. I’ve started unnumbing. I don’t like that feeling.
