Congestion pricing delay

Since Governor Hochul paused congestion pricing, the future funding of the MTA has been up in the air. Advocates for the controversial plan want Hochul to flip the switch and reinstate the toll. FOX 5 NY's Briella Tomassetti has the details.

Congestion Pricing is actually racist. Their thinking is taking money from suburban commuters through congestion pricing rather than enforce fare beaters on buses and subways. Collect the fares from everyone and you won’t need to finance the buses and trains on car commuters.

A.person got on the New Jersey transit train heading to NY PENN STATION THE CONDUCTOR ASKED FOR HIS TICKET NO TICKET RESPONSE MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING 2ND MACHINE NOT WORKIG. OFFERED TO PAY WITH A$50:00 BILL. THE CONDUCTOR THE CONDUCTOR READ TO HI. THE RREQUIREMENTS REGARDING PAYING CASH FOR ONE'S FARE I.E. CANNOT TENDER ANY HIGHER AMT. >#20:00. AS THE CONDUCTOR HIS FSRE COLLECTION DUTIES THE MAN MVED ON T ANOTHER CAR . He was supposed to alight in Elizabeth we saw him get off the train at NY Penn station. If a cop was on the train an appropriate action would or would have been implemented. The official deterrents created appear to encourage fraudulent measures to beat the systems.

The congestion pricing does not work. It’s already been said in London it doesn’t work. The traffic went down a bit, but it went back up so what’s the use of congestion pricing if it’s gonna be traffic again and now people in London being charged regardless the traffic goes away or not, it’s literally money if it doesn’t work in London, it does not work in New York regret the decisions you make plus everything that you buy food anything soap, toothbrush, toothpaste anything that you buy or eat is gonna go up because trucks will be told six dollars every time they go in They are going to charge the store ordered the delivery or the grocery store that ordered the delivery will be charged meaning there will be increasing the prices making you pay more. Did you ever think that? Yes, we do need a better train but don’t do it where people cannot buy food anymore or live I live in New York and life hasn’t been easy. Buying food is not cheap. Buying essentials is not easy. We are scraping the bottom of the bucket. There is nothing left and you want more. We’re gonna get the money for that if you’re gonna put congestion pricing think of the consequences that the people would get not everybody’s rich. We’re just scraping by day today. I wish I was rich because every day is a torture in New York New York is a loser. State and congestion. Pricing makes it more a loser state
