I’ve watched this so many times and I’m not seeing these screens on the x32 or my iPad . Do you connect your Pc or Mac to get this interface?

I use X32 Edit and this program can be downloaded from the Behringer website. I have my router connected to the X32 Rack, and then my laptop is also connected to the same router. This allows my laptop to communicate with the X32 Rack. Since my iPad is connected to the same router using WIFI, I can control the Rack from my iPad using a app called X32 Mix. However, Behringer has removed this app from the Apple Store and are designing a new app. If you need additional information, you can check out my website below. danatucker.com/talk-with-dana/

We have a venue we will be playing that has an X32 Console FOH and an S32 on stage via AES A. We rehearse with an X32 console and 2 S16's, one S16 for 12 drum inputs, and one S16 for guitars, bass, vox, and also 16 channels on the P16's. At the venue we will bring our 2 S16's, P16's. How can we connect/route/configure our 2 stage boxes to the house S32/X32 without having to run our AES Cable to FOH as AES B?

Just load your scene on the FOH console and plug in your stage boxes to their AES50A Port Cat5e cable that they should already have on stage.

So, if I add say an SD8 and gain those 8 extra outputs then set those all up as monitor busses I will lose my Effects Sends on busses 13 thru 16. I’m trying to setup stereo IEMs for seven people. That would be busses 1 through 14. Then with 15 and 16 being Main Outs all my Effects Busses are gone. How do I compensate for that? Or am I trying to do something this particular system configuration can’t achieve?
@DanaTucker1 Жыл бұрын
If you add the SD8, you will have a total of 16 XLR Outputs. If you need 7 stereo outputs for IEMs, that = 14. You would only need to use two of your FX buses. The M/C and Mains have their own internal buses. You can also do the same thing without the SD8 by using the aux outs.

everything is working as in the video, except when I plug the mains into aux outs 7 and 8 on my SD8 which I Think should be 15 and 16 I get no sound. the meters show I should be.

Try moving buses 7 & 8 over to the Main L/R column and see if that works.

I'm not sure why you set everything to unity, in a band mix or IEM mix you don't want everything at the same level. Or am I missing something here?
@DanaTucker12 жыл бұрын
Setting everything to unity is simply a starting point. From there you should be able to adjust any mix, as long as you have set the proper input gains, to stay with in the + or - 5dBFS range.
