Well said…”Silence is not empty it is full of answers.” So true. I crave silence too. Life gets so loud, and it’s in the quiet that I come to know and love me unselfishly. Thanks for being you and sharing your life. Encouraging.

Thank you for another beautiful video Connie. All the scenery and your calming voice is what I needed after a busy day at work. I am going through an extremely sad & stressful time in my life now. However thanks to this event, I am experiencing what you have discussed in this vlog. I am allowing silence to learn & understand what I need to change about myself and my life in order to live an authentic life of peace, joy and love. I appreciate your channel so very much. Thank you again 🙏🏻💗

Your words and message are simply beautiful. I wish that we could all give ourselves grace and just live a loving and kind and giving life. Stop comparing ourselves to others, stop doubting the amazing being we are and just be kind and fill ourselves so that we can touch other peoples lives and find our true purpose. You know I teach beauty and aging naturally. I only mention this because if we as women would stop being so obsessed with chasing youth with the ridiculous standard set for us and accept the beauty in aging, we would have so much more time to do things that matter. We would have so much more time to give our best selves to the ones around us. We would learn to love ourselves and give ourselves grace. Loved this. Blessings to you and everyone here 🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

Thank you for another beautiful video Connie, and also for the advice you kindly sent me in a reply recently- it was very helpful 💗 Nothing beats connecting with nature, I find. I am lucky to live near some beautiful gardens where I often visit to slow down and refresh my weary mind. My visit a few days ago helped remind me that stressing over things which I have no control is counterproductive. Instead I focused on everything I feel grateful for and felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders. Despite going through a very difficult and trying time, I am trying to stay in a positive frame of mind 🦋💕

Just your voice is a form of relaxation... You speak softly gentle.and yes we are always trying to get to places here there and everywhere... I lost my big sister in March..cancer 35 days after being told... I try at least 10 minutes if not more to hold as many thoughts of wonderful times we had together... And how to try and enjoy life as much as possible. X thank you for sharing

Connie, Always helpful and calming watching your videos make me feel, like there is always a way to conquer my challenges. I have anxiety and creating that self care is very important. I notice my anxiety increasing when I realize all I have to do. My husband has health limitations and is going to have a cervical epidural today. He’s been suffering with pain for almost 2 months. So I’m there for him as much as he’s always there for me when I have my own challenges, but I feel I can’t cope with more stress and fear of what ifs . So hopefully I can create some space and time to calm down as I need to be ready and present for what the day brings. Thank you!!❤️

You described me now when you talked about racing mind and running around in chais getting nothing done. I have become aware and see how i was wasting away in hopelessness rather than practicing wuse mind and mindfulness. Self care can feel like climbing Mt Everest bc I had become so depressed i could barely.move or so my mind was telling me.. Mindfulness helps me and slowing down enriches all life's moments thus making me happier and more fulfilled. Its the only way and i thank you for your inspiring story.

Hi Connie...this is my second video of yours I have watched while I am waking up and getting ready to start my day. Boy do I ever relate to the very first part of this video. Just a few months ago I decided to slow down and make some changes in my life as I declutter and move more towards minimalism. You are sooo right...everything in nature DOES get done and is very peaceful and calm. The native american folks say to be still and listen , "there are messages in the wind." I found this to be true many years ago. Ty for this video to help me on my way today.~Jodi

Thanks for your wonderful tips on how to slow down in a busy world! I'm trying to pace myself better at the office and not feel so pressured to accomplish everything so quickly. Fortunately I have a supportive supervisor who has provided me with a better way to meet my work goals. I try to balance out my day with walks and bird watching, as well as reading and listening to soothing music and natural sounds on KZbin. Jenny

I struggle with slow living not because of my brain but due to working. Every job wants you to do different things at once and as fast as possible. I want to live slowly as I am a empath with anxiety but how can I in such a fast paced hustle culture?
@ConnieRiet2 жыл бұрын
I think that many people feel as you do. Our society, culture, and work are running at 100 mph everyday. What a wonderful gift you have as an empath! I believe empaths are the key to making the world a kinder place. Begin with having compassion and empathy for yourself. Treating yourself with kindness and giving yourself what you need to live a peaceful life. There will always be 100 things pulling us many different directions. Finding peace within (if only in small intervals) through meditation, sitting outside, breathing deeply, listening to music. Sending you happiness & peace
