I’m sorry to hear that I met him at hayfield in Doncaster years ago when he finished second in the fisho. Had my photo taken with him couldn’t be more friendly chatted and gave the winner the biggest clap

Met Will for the first time at an open Daiwa day at Angling Direct Norwich. Could not have been nicer and took time to speak with me for a long period. Maybe the issues is from yourselves and your attitudes...

Would it not of been wize to make the pole exactly 16 metres as when entering certain competitions or even club matches the rules are 16 metres exactly! 👍.. . . . .

I have spoken to Will on several occasions without a problem. Here is how I see things. Would you try and talk to a pro golfer during a match or talk to a tennis player while playing at Wimbledon? Will is trying to win a match!! I would never try to talk to an angler fishing a match but wait until the match was over. I’m known as being very laid back while fishing but I find some people try my patience whilst fishing and filming and I find myself biting my tongue. Another thing are we always in a good mood? Maybe we don’t want to talk to strangers! Bill

@@easyfishing1936 Yes Obviously Will wasn't fishing a match but I know where you're coming from as respect to people who are casting shadows on the water or just fisheries that have walkers and your clipped up tight to an island and your bloody rod twangs around with a potentially match winning fish while you're moving your pole forward for the 10th time! 👍

Easy Fishing I met him at Fisho just after they finished at Hatfield. He’d just finished second. Had photo chatted was polite and was really nice 👍
