Hi Glenn! Thanks so much. I’ve had a big delay in getting the next one out (work and more walks!!) but it will hopefully get uploaded this weekend and I will start on the next!

So glad to see you actually met Tomas, the Templar. He was not at home when I was there last time. And, well done coming down that mountain on that path with all that bedrock. It ruined my knees. Thanks for sharing your experience. 😊

I've enjoyed all 5 chapters. Waiting for your next. I was there September 2023 (we were probably fairly close to each other) and also June 2019 with my 11 year old. Ibuprofen saves the day (and a glass of wine).

Thank you! We may have seen each other! Ifs great you got to walk with your child. I agree ibuprofen and wine were helpful at the end of the day!

OMG Kate, I met Jojo and her dog in 2023 while I walked to Finisterre, close to O Logoso (not long after Olveiroa). They had only just left on their way to Jerusalem. I love your honest videos. Good commentary, little moments of positivity and nicely shot :)

Hi Kate, Really enjoying your journey. I restart my camino on 7th September from Burgos. What time in the morning did you usually start, and is earlier the better to avoid the heat? I used walking poles up to Burgos, do you think they will be necessary from Burgos onwards? Thanks Neil
@Kate_Pilgrim4 ай бұрын
Hi Neil I’m more of an owl than a lark and I find getting up and going early difficult! But ideally Ithink getting going anywhere between 7and 9 is fine. Perhaps a little earlier if it is really hot in the Meseta. But it really depends on how far you intend to walk. It’s not pleasant (or safe if it’s very hot) walking in blazing heat in the afternoon. I personally don’t use walking poles and didn’t feel I needed them. But some people love them and use them even on flat ground - so it’s a difficult one to comment on. The section after Cruz de Ferro you may find them useful. Have a great Camiño in September! Kate
