Strategy talk:
In case you want to attempt this run yourself, here are a couple of additional things that didn't make it into the video. There's a small element of RNG in the strategy. Sometimes Sweden doesn't land-lease, increasing the justification time to 40 days. It's worth trying to go for Denmark first in that situation. If you're lucky, Sweden has set up a land-lease by the time the justification against Denmark is done.
As always, just go ahead and ask in the comments if there's something unclear. I'll try to respond to everyone who attempts a run.
Make very sure to stick to the plan meticulously or risk deviations. Especially the pattern of paradrops for France is by no means random.
It's designed to prevent accidentially encountering a division in Paris.

If anyone wants to get Finnish Him in a more relaxed way, and also create ultra Finland, best thing to do is make collab governments against Soviet before going in. Its slower, but soviets capitulate much easier and you get max compliance on all soviet states, meaning a ton of manpower and factories.

Ive been looking everywhere I am new to the game, how can I edit the front line so that I can mirco easier (example make my tank div front line smaller then expand my infantry front line to cover those tiles) hope that makes sense.

There are handles on each end of a frontline that appear when you draw or edit frontlines. Just drag those to adjust the frontline.

What are the triggers? I dont know how I got the Achievement, but I remember struggling back then. I held all territories in the winter war, until the surrender of the soviet union. I also captured moscow, however it didnt fire. Do I need to lose the Winter war and declare a war myself?

If you're not the only participant in a war against the Soviets, you 'only' need to control Moscow and have more than 15% war score when the war ends.

Any tips beating the Soviets without Order 66 and still getting Finnish him? I followed this till I capitulate the UK and annex all the countries. Im struggling with the war with Soviets because the German's declare on me after I leave the faction. Great video though!

how did you manage to get the paradrop off in UK without air superiority? i got stuck at that point and lost to UK :(

No air superiority. Same as with France. You rely on the UK not putting their air force up quickly enough. That's why I move the paratroopers to an airport in the north-western air zone, because the UK has planes up in the eastern one. Still, I only ever expect to get one or two drops of into the ports that I then send reinforcements to. Anything more is just a bonus. But there is a chance that it all goes down the drain when those first two ports are guarded AND any further drops are denied. That's rare, but can ruin the southern offensive.

Thank you! I needed France for the subject templates, but I can't use foreign manpower for the 2w template - not enough XP to make a template for that. I didn't plan to continue the run after the Soviets fell, otherwise it would've been wise to make more puppets instead of annexing.

Yes. You only need TfV for releasing France. And WTT for Nordic Empire, I think, but that's optional anyway.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but by the time I end the civil war, I end up wit a 2.3k deficit on guns, which prevents me to train the paratroopers without diverting production from transport planes to guns. Am I doing something wrong?

Never had that happen but another commenter said something similar. You can just delete the cav divisions if you have equipment deficits and hope you get plenty back from capping France.

@@m3an Unfortunately, even when deleting the cav divisions, still have barely enough guns to train 5 paratrooper divisions. Is it possible that I am taking 5 more days to end the civil war and therefore, the AI is creating some more divs, wasting the guns?? Still, managed to capitulate France, but the problem is still there since I can’t either train the remaining paratroopers nor the 6 infantry or cavalry divisions due to a 7.0k deficit

I tried this run for like 4-5 times now, and i just cant cap the uk. They always have a lot of troops ready to answer the invasions, and cant get them, and soon the divisons from poland and yugo and romania arrive, than its over. How could i overcome this?

It's all about speed. The southern invasion needs to spread out fast and take as many ports as possible and encircle London. The naval invasion is primarily used to take the VPs in central and northern UK. Do you restart from scratch each time or reload a save? Did you watch the unedited video for more details (linked in description)? It is crucial to not get pinned down when the reinforcements land in the south.

@@m3an I restart everytime from the beginning to be able to get the achivement, and my paratroopers just seems to die almost instantly because they land on defended areas. In one of my recent runs i almost capped them.. only needed 1 percent, but than the other nations naval invaded. I watched the unedited version too to do a step by step follow guide, but the ai randomly organizing their troops and i even managed to get stuck in the invasion of france since they put up air quickly.

@@EHardTV Hmm. It's weird since some other comments said something similar. But there hasn't been an update since so I'm rather sure that it should still work. Too bad I'm on vacation right now, otherwise I'd replay the run just to make sure. But there absolutely is some RNG to it, just like you said. Sometimes the AI has divs on the UK ports in the south, but rarely on all three.

this worked for me, im trying to get the forge of victory achievement which means having 50 factories as belgium, i tried the same turning fascist and airdropping france thing but for some reason it always only launches 2 of the 8 divisions, does anyone know what mechanic is stopping the other ones? (its not their air planes)

You miss out on captured equipment if you do. If you puppet them during the PC, they retain parts of their stockpile instead of you capturing it.
