Hi Mel, lovely to see you and please thank Rosie for helping with the Rosie cam😊. I always tried to have everything ready for Monday when my kids were in school, and yes it slowly goes down hill as the week progress 😅, but gawd help me if I wasn't able to do a Sunday reset. Nowadays I just try and get something done every day, my accomplishment this week is i have got the laundry done and AND the ironing is all done. ❤

You said helping people makes your heart sing. You helped me with this video. My hubby lost his dream job on Friday. You reminded me to go outside and I did. Thank you

@okallie...I am so sorry. Where my husband worked for almost 45-years they are now restructuring and it is amazing how many people are being let go. Sad times. I pray your hubby finds an even better dream job.

Hello Mel! You always make my day when I watch your videos! You always have done. I have been busy doing little jobs around the house today and has made me feel good. I wish I could prep food for the week as well but it’s to much of a effort with my anxiety and depression. Take care sweet lady you are very much loved❤❤❤

Ned's mum had a stroke last month and he had to make the decision to let her go, then sort all her belongings. Your soup makings and meal prep look so great! Way to go!

Mel I’m so happy that you are doing better. My one thing is planting some azaleas in front of my porch. I have been wanting to do that for about a week❤

Mel,you have helped me. Just knowing I’m not the only person who suffers panic/ anxiety attacks and depression which I’ve suffered from for over 40 years. In my day I was afraid to seek help because I was afraid my children would be taken away from me. I’m now a great grandmother and have settled down loads, because I no longer have the worrying aspect of children or grandchildren being taken away. My granddaughter who is only 16 years old is showing signs, taking panic attacks,so I’m trying to advise her and help her through this.

It must be nice to have your room back without your office in it amd your waredrobe os so spacious. It was the same for us in the other house and it makes such a difference now with more space.

Hey there. So nice to see you! I love the idea of prepping meals-some times are easier than others. I do love to prep breakfast. Somehow I need breakfast, for the get up and go! Haha. I heard somewhere if you can prep for at least, Monday & Tuesday possibly Wednesday consider that success. With consistency, it will get easier to do more and get those other 2-3 days. Remember to rest and put your leg up…much love. It’s hot hot here, can’t wait for the cooler weather of November.

After losing my guy 2 months ago I am still struggling with just life in general. I get up,go to work, come home, make dinner and do housework. Just piddling through each day like a zombie. I know it will get better. I gotta give it time. Great job on the tidy up! Good to see you…..

That 1% better thing is a huge gamechanger. I've washed about 14 dishes and filled jars with water to get in the fridge. Trying to get myself motivated to finish mowing.

So impressed with your meal prep! I’ve had a cold this weekend so nothing like that done but I did pick up the special cat food order from the shop and I’m currently ironing while watching KZbin. I’m doing ok.

Slow cooker meals are great and easy too Love those chopper machine for onions etc. Must do that tomorrow, thanks for the reminder of chopping up my vegies and grating too. I did do chopping of capsicums and cucumber 🥒 s today. That was my goal today. Shopping, click and collect tomorrow. At least I like to achieve one , two or 3 tasks a day at least, maybe more but not too much or I may burn out.😂😅😮😊 You also reminded me to clean my oven too

Hey! We just returned from 4 days of camping. But we bought a trailer and it was so great. We had 32 people at the family reunion. I try to keep on track to avoid the Sunday Scaries. I skip a lot of hard chores, though.

Hi, Mel! I think resetting on Sunday for the week plus some food prep, menu planning and somewhat caught up laundry, really helps the week go more smoothly. It is likely to get more chaotic towards the end of the week...understandable. That's why the "reset" every week!! xo

Mel, when I was married and working, I bought a book on meals for a month. Shop on Saturday and Cook on Sunday. I was exhaused just reading it. So, what I did if I made soup or chilli, stews, roasts I made double and have an extra for a meal during the week, ex's lunch and froze a meal. That helped a lot and I used the crockpot. But, I din't have a family of six. You could start with chilli or something along those lines on the weekend. Not now with your ankle healing. Just a thought that helped me. The crockpot was so wonderful to come from work and smell dinner that was ready. Love ya! Please take care! 💙💙💙

I'm back. Should you be working and doing laundry, etc. with your ankle still hurting? Can you find something to help with laundry and just label the shelves or drawers with where things go? Can your older daughter help? I felt so bad when you showed the closet with clean clothes to sort. Besides depression/anxiety/digestive issues I have back pain and sciatica. My dear friend comes over to do my laundry (I live in an apartment building with multiple washers and dryers) she loves doing it. I'll sort, fold, hang and put things away but I couldn't do it all in pain. Hoping you get some help. Love ya, 💕💕♥
