Thanks for the enlightenment. What the homosexuals don’t realize is that even us heterosexuals have the same attractions towards the other sex but it’s our faith that says you must not act on it but be faithful to the spouse. And even when single must not act on it until marriage. Lord bless.

Major kudos to you for actually reading the whole book before offering analysis! You're spot on when you said that people latch on to certain leaders and influencers and fail to think critically. We should always weigh what others say, whether we love them or hate them, against the truth.

I was roped into Taylor Marshall's lies a few years ago which really damaged my faith , to the point of me considering Orthodoxy, thank God I didn’t. He is a lying GRIFTER leading many faithful Catholics away. I really wish there was a way to cancel this guy!! Lord have mercy!

No matter how personally genuine, knowledgeable or eloquent James Martin is, that doesn’t mean he’s ‘on message’. In fact, knowledge and eloquence can often camouflage error. As you rightly pointed out, his message on LGBT sexuality is clearly missing the vital ingredient…a clear call to repentance and celibacy for those unfortunate enough to be suffering same-sex attraction. He actually described LGBT sexuality as ‘healthy, whole and perfectly normal’. A clearer endorsement of the LGBT lifestyle would be difficult to find. Contributing a preface (or whatever) to someone’s book does one very simple thing before even a word is written…it effectively endorses both the author and the book itself. Pope Francis even mentioned specifically how he values James Martin’s published work. Yes, we must be charitable. But we must also be vigilant. We’ve been told that wolves in sheep’s clothing will be found among us, in these End Times most especially. We’ve been told to be on guard against them. Falsehoods are often wrapped very attractively, concealed among truths. James Martin is ‘off message’. No Pope should contribute to that. Pope Francis was much mistaken in doing so. Perhaps that’s why his contribution hasn’t been included in the English edition. I think it’s time now to watch and listen as events unfold, charitably yes, but also very, very carefully. One must love Christ before one can repent. It takes someone who is steeped in sin lots of Mercy in love before their hardness begins to fade as not everyone has that Saul moment. Someone has to be patient, kind and merciful to sinners before helping them along to repentance. As someone who was a devoted follower of Taylor for a few years your ministry has opened my own eyes. Fr Martin is beyond me. I'm sure his work re St Lazarus is wonderful and I am glad "you read the book so We don'thave to". 😊 I trust your review is in earnest and I share both your scepticism towards Fr Martin's pastoral intent but also your confidence in the decisions of this Pope. Excellent review and the book was close to how I thought it was going to go. I think it is interesting that some people on the extreme of both sides make the assumption that everything someone on the other side says must be evil through and through. I have recently noticed in my own life that if I disagree with a person on one point, I think the person must be wrong on everything else. It is very difficult to overcome that subconscious assumption, impossible without God, so I have started my process through the grace of God to remove that from my life.

Rob, thanks so much for this review & sharing your thoughts. I largely agree with you on everything you said. One other thing I appreciate & it's your very honest take on Fr James's book. Truth be told I have found myself quite piddled with him when I see (second hand) his pictures in SM with LGBTQ which to me look wrong, particularly after the release of FS. I will qualify that however with a deep unease when I hear some Catholics on SM speak about him like judge, jury & executioner and so blithely & cavalier. The unease probably has to do with the plank I know I have in my own eye & my own struggles with sin in this life. Sometimes, I love SM, sometimes I really dislike it. Perhaps if folk took a leaf out of your book & were slightly kinder to eachother we would be in a better place. I agree, the Holy Father truly believes in the mercy of Jesus for ALL sinners & sees a special need for the Church to go out on the fringes. He exemplifies the Gospel imo. He may not be fully aware of everything on SM & possibly ( due to the size of the global Church ) has to depend on his Bishops to keep things on track. Thanks again, wonderful vid 👍

The Guy with the Beard is Kennedy Hall . He belongs to the schismatic SSPX that teaches the Mass is intrinsically evil unless its the 1962 Missal. He also teaches the SSPX false teaching that part of Vatican II is heretical. I honestly see no difference than being Protestant.

I've never heard Taylor Marshall promote schism. He just loudly calls out the hypocrisy in the hierarchy of the church. Our Lady had said that bishops and priests will lead many to apostasy.. That may include the Pope, the Bishop of Rome...

An apostate is someone who leaves the faith and the church. If we don't tolerate pope Francis and accept him is teh pope, which he rightfully is, then we cut ourselves off from the church founded on the rock.
