I just recently started watching your videos, and I love the content. They're all strolls down memory lane, and the consoles and portables you guys find and review are honestly pretty cool. I wouldn't even know most of these exist if it wasn't for your videos. The semi-awkward moments you guys have between breaking down hardware specs and/or different titles for these consoles is endearing. It's definitely a unique touch on your videos. I can't tell if you're doing it on purpose or if that's just how you guys are, but it's just as entertaining as your jokes and the scripted parts. I feel like I'm just hanging out with 2 guys talking about classic games. I'm sure that's what you're going for, and you knock it out of the park every time. This is the 4th 3-hour compilation video of yours I've watched in the past 3 days. I'm a little nervous about when I finish them all and what I'll do with my life afterward. Ok Joe, I stand corrected: I watched your episode on the Sega Master System and found it absolutely FASCINATING! Seriously! Even the hardware description was super interesting! I didn’t realize just how little I knew about a system I had totally written off and made fun of! I had no idea of the quality of the games it produced and how superior it was hardwarewise to the NES! Still, the game library is pretty weak and seems to have A LOT of games that are Sega rip offs of classic more popular NES titles. That said, I still see it’s value that I had refused in the past. Thanks for opening up my eyes and teaching me something new! I’m still such a huge fan of Game Sack!

I’m Nintendo all the way but I loved and owned all Sega systems too. It’s such a shame they couldn’t stop shooting themselves in the foot. The video game world is poorer for them being gone from console races as it’s now Nintendo alone as a pure gaming company fighting two mega corporations (that do gaming on the side) that have turned gaming into a Hollywood movie clone industry. Don’t get me wrong I like Microsoft and Sony but I’m not a huge fan of giant companies with unlimited resources pushing out pure gaming companies and turning gamers into spec whores instead of focusing on the games themselves. That’s just a personal opinion though. I just feel the gaming industry is less creative and much more formulaic because of it. I mean I don’t even have to hear the specifics of the years new big releases to know it’s about a 90% chance of being a sandbox game or a shooter full of micro transactions and still barely out of beta phase forcing me into being an unpaid beta tester for most of its life with a 50/50 chance it might be a complete game in a year or two.

@@mickael486 Castlevania SotN and a couple of those Mega Man X games are really the only examples of 2D games looking better on the PlayStation. You complain about having to BUY a RAM cart? I only watched the Saturn compilation, since it was the only system that I still have and might learn about some missing games. Here are two additional details for those who are interested. First off, the pinball realm is pretty well represented, with both Last Gladiators and Necronomicon offering among the most realistic, and completely original, tables of its time. And for owners of Fighters Megamix, there is a hidden character that is even odder than the car from Daytona. You have the option to play as an uncooked slab of meat. Also, the CD contains a text file in Japanese, but it includes the English words "Drivers Megamix". A planned but unreleased racing compilation, perhaps? No idea.
