The story was actually by Paul Dini AND Peter Gould, who was a writer on Breaking Bad and is now the co-showrunner of Better Call Saul.

I love the part where the bad guy has a strong legal case against them. That's funny and depressing at the same time. I'm thankful to Smosh games Honest Trailers because without it I would not have got the Objection game reference.

I always knew this subconsciously but never thought about it: yes, Super Mario Bros and Double Dragon have the exact same plot! I always thought that Double Dragon has an awesome setting for a movie and when I was a kid I used to like this movie a lot. Also, I'd buy two tickets for "Double Dragon 2: Trial and Error".

Nice review; I didn't realize how similar this was to Super Mario Bros. (Though I like that one better), but for one thing: There was no shared love interest in SMB; Mario and Luigi each have their own. Looking forward to the next one!

in my opinion according for a video game to become a good movie all the following requirements must be fulfilled: 1)the game must have a rich lore 2)the lore must contain several side characters(which were important for the lore) 3)the creators of the game must be in charge for the movie. 4)before the creators of the game make the movie they must make some other form of entertainment such as comics and tv shows 5)those comics/tv shows must be well received by the audience and they must not be made just for the purpose of boosting the sales. 6)the movie it's self must not be made just for the purpose of boosting the sales. 7)the movie should be should be written that way so those who are unfamiliar with the game are required to know as less as possible about the game's lore. the only video game movie I know that fulfilled all of the above was dofus livre 1:julith,this movie is so well made that it doesn't require from the viewer to know anything about the game's lore or world. please do a review about this great movie. also note that joris during the entire movie refers to kerubim as papicha,this word is a combination of the french words papy meaning grandpa and chat meaning cat.
