The crazy thing is, there exists a gameboy version of this game, and it actually tried to replicate most of the crazy 3D effects. Whatever you think about these games, you have to give it to the developers, they were very comited to breaking boundaries to give you something even remotely similar to the movie.

Got that game out of a whole bag of Gameboy games for 15€. There where some good games in the bag though, like Choplifter 2.

I think the sequel would have fared a lot better if not for the horrendously bad casting for Jobe. That's the main thing that killed the film for me. It did make one particular Jobe scene hilarious though, so there is that.

I like the sequel as low budget trash cyberpunk fare, it's johnny mnemonic without the budget. I admit it's a bad movie, but it's not exactly boring to watch with all the cool sets and costumes. It doesn't nearly match the badass ending of the first movie and what it made me imagine though.

I love putting you guys on late nite with my friend I've known since we were 12. I'm 26 now. Your channel's vibes remind me of how it used to feel during the good old days when you could be up gaming all night on weekends without worrying about work or school tomorrow. Craziest part is how grateful we were with rudimentary tech in hindsight. I remember feeling like I was in the future when I was able to bump KZbin and Limewire music while playing Halo 3 online.. Mannnn I miss those days!

This is quite possibly the funniest episode you've ever done. I really enjoyed Pat's performance in this one. The last part after the game review was great, and it's convinced me that a Lawnmower Man parody could be one of the greatest comedy films ever made.

Truth be told I like the SNES music. Especially in the VR part when you're flying around. Seems fitting. SNES version sounds more science fiction and high tech themed Plus I like Allister Brimble's compositions. The Genesis version was remixed by someone else

Next Episode Hint (taking a wild guess): Road Runner's Death Valley Rally (Super Nintendo) vs. Desert Demolition Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote (Genesis) I only played the SNES version. Great graphics and sound, but the controls were notoriously difficult. Took me some time getting used to, but yeah, it was hard.

+Sergio Cazares You should definitely play Desert Demolition on the Genesis. That game gives you the option to play as Wile E. Coyote so you can use the ACME Gadgets to catch Road Runner.

It was an ok movie but I had the snes version growing up and loved it (had a small leftover library from my older brothers) was blown away by a character sprites of the fire man you fight at the gas station

I fondly remember playing the Super Nintendo version. The game sucks, but the soundtrack, flashy visuals and VR segments are memorable. You could say it's a guilty pleasure of its time. I never knew there was a Sega Genesis version and I know there's Sega CD version that is an different game entirely. (future "What's the Difference?" episode for consideration). Another great episode, you two! Bonus points for the add spoofing the VR sections

Terminator Salvation felt like it would have been a pretty good sequel to a first War Against the Machines movie where shell-shocked survivors are only just starting to rebuild civilization in the months and years after Judgment Day, unaware of Skynet droids slowly claiming more territory. I felt that TS skipped too much story* but it was still interesting for what it was and I certainly appreciated how it at least tried something different from any other Terminator sequel post-T2. * Yes, I know there was a prequel comic that covered some of the narrative gap between T3 and TS but the early days of the post-Judgment Day world should have been its own movie.

Another great video guys! I remember playing this game for the SNES back in the day. Never played the Sega version though. Have you guys ever considered comparing N64 games to PlayStation 1? I think that could be pretty cool since both consoles have some of the same games, such as Gex: Enter the Gecko and Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Two of the first Let's Players I discovered, who got me invested in the hobby in the first place, did a co-op of Lawnmower Man back in 2012. So this episode, while trippy and bizarre, holds a twinge of personal significance. I hadn't even read the book or watched the movie beforehand... what were the film writers on? Another great episode! I have never seen The Lawnmower Man movie, but that sure didn't get in the way of my enjoyment of this video. In hindsight, I wonder why I was worried about that. Anyway, I absolutely loved the whole VR thing you did at the end! Easily my favorite part! Whatever you had to do for that, it was definitely worth it! I might say more later, but that's all the stuff I wanna get outta the way first. Anyway, the next episode's gotta be the Roadrunner games. Y'know, AVGN talked about Road Runner's Death Valley Rally in his "Fear and Loathing in Vegas Stakes" episode. What's odd is, even though these games are technically bad, the presentation and variety of this game make me want to check it out. But probably the SNES version.
