I love your videos. Even the ones that don't apply to me. But I always hear you and Mr. Olson say Seniors. What age is a Senior? You can get Senior discounts at 55. Other things start at 60. I'm wanting to know what you mean as it pertains to debit collections and other things you both talk about. Thanks for your videos. It helps us all so much.

My parent's Verve Connect from Consumer Cellular came with an eSIM QR code. However, the phone does not scan the code. I can't find an option to turn on QR code scanning. We tried searching the QR code using Google Lens, but it did not pop up a screen. Instead, it searched a long code number and returned those results. Alternatively, I am thinking I could just buy a Consumer Cellular SIM card at Target and install it, but not sure if that would work. I consider myself to be fairly tech savvy, and after 2 1/2 hours of messing with this to no avail, I am thinking of telling my parent to return this phone and pick something else. Thank you for the tip on the swipe navigation; that helps a lot.

I've had two of these. They are terrible. Very slow, brings up the wrong app, terrible reception, won't hook up to WiFi, slow on WiFi, poor speaker. I bet they made this phone slow on purpose to make you pay more. And that makes me hate it even more.

@@SeniorLivingOrg that's another thing. The electronic SIM card. You cannot remove it or use an old one. Also, if this phone is geared for seniors the time and battery life is hard to see. I can go on and on. Don't go cheap. You'll get what you paid for.

The most horrible excuse for a phone ever made. Also consumer cellular is a terrible service. Getting rid of both.

They do have other phones available... like iPhone and Motorola and some Samsung and ZTE. You can also bring your own GSM phone that's unlocked as well. How is it terrible service? They work off AT&T and tmobiles towers. As he said in the video, they are designed with seniors in mind, but they serve everyone else as well. Most Target stores have a rep in store if you need help, or you can call the 800 number listed on the box or in the manuals and even on the advertisement card in front of the display.

@@gailenrique2804 target doesn't have other phones except expensive ones. Verve phones should be taken off the market. They are junk. Totally unresponsive. You have to beat the hell out it to get a response. When you get an incoming call it takes so long for the call screen to come up that the caller hangs up before you can answer. The screen changes at will. I don't know why I don't get good service. I'm in Burlington NC, a good size town. I never get more than two bars and most times I only get one or none. Never had that problem with straight talk. before I bought this verve garbage I had a zte. The screen would go black on incoming calls so you couldn't answer. Couldn't make outgoing calls. I don't care about reviews or ratings. I can only go by my own experiences and they have not been good with consumer cellular and their phones

I've had Consumer Cellular for years now and I have always been happy with there service. There customer service centers are in the US and its nice to talk to someone who you cand understand your problem. I'm really suprised at all the complaints. I would give them 5 stars.

@@lentamosaitis2867 doesnt matter to me what kind of experiences anyone else has. Why would it. I have made my decision to drop consumer cell. Have a new phone and service on the way now. And im getting a much better deal. Consumer cell claims that they cater to seniors but im getting a much better deal with a different service who actually does give serious discounts to seniors on fixed income. No such deal with consumer cell. Same prices for everyone and target doesnt offer a variety of phones. The verve connect is outright junk
