Quenching your thirst has become complicated. Many drinks claim health benefits, such as replenishing electrolytes and boosting your vitamin intake. Consumer Reports looked at 20 beverages to help you decide which ones to sip and which to skip.

almost worthless news report. Please give some numbers. Tell us what doctors say we need, whats offered in the drinks, loss rate of typical outside activities etc

I need electrolytes for a condition I have. And all I get is ……. Drink water! OMG! Click bait if I ever saw one.

I’m not taking health advice from a non fit person. If you sweat, you need salt and sugar. Floyd Mayweather swears so much he drinks Coca Cola after his workout just to get sugar. Not recommending that but sometimes after intense training sessions, I’m light headed and weak and a big Gatorade (not the zero sugar) gets me feeling good again.

“You don’t lose vitamins when you sweat “but you lose a lot more and water is not everything especially if you’re working outside in the hot sun or if you’re sweating a lot you need electrolytes
