What all did you do to prepare? I’ve worked in the health insurance/ medical billing field almost 10 yrs now, I was just planning on getting the rest of the books and the practice exams off the AAPC website and doing the practice exams to get myself familiar with the books 🤷🏽‍♀️

What about a calculator to add up lacerations sq. cms, etc.? If we can't have scratch paper I am hoping we can have a standard calculator?

Do I need external speakers? I thought I read somewhere on AAPC website they required external speakers. Am I not able to use the speaker that is in my laptop?

You need an external webcam. You need speakers, but they can be the ones in your laptop. The webcam can't be the one in your laptop because of the need to position it on the side.

I asked this on another video. So far no answer. There is no way I can sit 4 hours without needing to go to the bathroom. I wish things were different. I do have that problem. I am disabled, so I will be taking the test at home. Will I be disqualified if I have to go to the bathroom?

Hi there! I did in fact respond to that one 2 hours prior to you posting this one as well. You will not be disqualified, but the time does not stop for the exam for breaks.
