G Cheema see, one thing is clear that Gurbani denounces castism of any form? This you will agree ok... Now, at the time when Khalsa Panth was given a final shape, the first thing which Guru Gobind Singh did was to remove his surname SodhiRai and put Singh instead, he didn’t do it just on himself but even made all Panj Pyaras as Singh and clearly told all Sikhs first, to follow Guru Granth Sahib as eternal guru and don’t identify yourself with any caste/race.. Now tell me what problem Dasam Pitaa would have got with that? Are we here to question him? He could have kept Rai after his name, BUT HE REMOVED IT TOTALLY... there must be some thinking behind that..
