Continental Road Attack 4 Review on my Honda NC750X DCT with 272,000K , Set #17

Continental Road Attack tyres are the best tyres I've had on a bike in 46 years of riding all year 'round in both wet and dry conditions. Got 17,000 kilometres use out of them on a BMW R1250GS HP.

17.000km on R1250GS? Damn. I used Continental Trail Attack 3 for the past 2 months and I got 6.300km and 6.000 on the two rears I used so far. Front is still good for at least one more rear tire. I gotta try these, can’t be buying 4-5 rear tires a year. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing! It's normally hard to get wrong with Conti tires. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve put conti rd 3s on my little triumph st twin 900 ,,,, the bike is night and day ,,,,,,,, fantastic! Wet dry ,,, up hills and down dales in GB . Been riding for ooops 50years

Hello! Nice vlog you have! Thx for cool places and detailed review for a great underrated bike. Have a question about bike. Is there enough power for riding with passanger? Or you feel lack of power with second person on this bike?

Thank you for the kind comments. I'm approximately 80 Kg plus all the luggage, my wife when she rides with me is 50kg plus she always has too much luggage. For this combination no issues with power. The bike has a lot of low end grunt. My CB500X I felt underpowered for 2 but manageable. Ride safe

Well thank you for watching and I do appreciate all the comments. As far as trouble with the NC, nothing major other than regular maintenance. I did change the water pump at around 200000 km but that was just preventive as I was hearing noise and the replacement cost was quite low. Ride safe

Hello, Mike. How often do you change your engine oil?

I change mine every 12,000 km including the oil filter with Honda synthetic oil. My bike still doesn't burn any oil at all.

Hi Mike, I have just ordered a 2023 NC750X DCT I have been doing some research looking into if they have been any issues with the DCT system. I have come across a few things here and there. The latest being the shift motor on the left hand side near the front sprocket cover area. Some reported it needs cleaning then it was fine. Have you had any problems worth mentioning? If so how did you slove them. Thanks John

Well for me I have had no issues at all, I think the biggest issue is the battery must be kept up and good quality. The DCT basically the computer so it needs to be reset once in awhile and for me that's about it. I'm knocking on wood at 272,000 it still runs great. My NC is an old model with only 2 modes , but I had a new X ATV which had the new version of DCT and it was really awesome. One thing to remember is not to stop the engine with the sidestand, when you come to a halt, put it in neutral and then turn it off. Congratulations on your new purchase, when mine wears out, maybe I'll buy a new one!!!! 😂😂😂

I asked you due to amount of miles/km you have covered If anyone know about this engine/DCT it's you! So did you even clean or inspect that shift motor at all then?

Hi Continental Tires have the tkc70 been discontinued? tkc80 and which do you recommend?

Not to my knowledge, but they are difficult to get and very popular. If you are riding severe offroad the tkc80 but if you are doing a lots of highway and some offroad the tkc70 is a great tire in my opinion and longer Life. If money was no option and I was rich and possibly sponsored I would likely be riding on TKC80. Thanks for watching

Well I would say that both tires are good, it depends where you live and availability. My preference is Continental

Well I don't have a lot of experience with different motorcycles, but when I ride my NC it puts a big smile on my face. I'm also enjoying my CRF as it's so light in comparison and you can ride it anywhere, anyplace, anytime.
