But he DID use the blinker for 1 sec, which is not something you usually see with BMW's XD

Many people might think that automatic bikes are boring. But it's actually quite nice sometimes do not be bothered with gears/clutch. =)
@MargusMoto3 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I figure if I was on a track day or really putting the bike through it's paces on some fun twisties, then sure manual gears are good. And for technical riding on loose stuff. But for travelling and in the city an automatic is waaaay more comfy

Geez that red car scared me like hell, and I'm only watching in front of my computer

Yeah.. I'm glad I have a habit of placing myself further away from cars if possible in my lane and also always covering the front brake when riding in the city... And also not being too much faster than the rest of the moving traffic. Still damn near soiled myself 😆

@@MargusMoto Always expect the unexpected. You have quick reflexes. While others might not see or notice others doing stuff wrong in traffic, we as motorcycles riders, stay alive by focusing on what other do. =)

Good vid man. Actually I think it’s more interesting to just hear your reaction to the bike and not hearing about specs like so many other reviews. Cheers!

Thanks! I figured everyone can google for specs. 😎

DCT was first used on the 2010 VFR1200F.

True. Though it feels like the dct has been around for much longer on Honda bikes :D

HI, great video and great bike!! witch mic do you uses in the video? sounds clear, thankssss
@MargusMoto3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use a Rode smartLav+ mic connected to the GoPro, record raw audio and then do the processing in post. :) It's a decent setup, but at faster speeds outside the city the noise gets really bad.. could be my helmet is not a quiet one...

Maybe you must use Fonestar FDM 621. Its said is a very good mic because its a unidirectional mic for motovlogs, not omnidirectional. Regards
@MargusMoto3 жыл бұрын
@@JJFilmart Guess it could be worth trying out. If I can fit it as I have a similar mic in fron of my mouth that connects to the communicator device.. Maybe I can split the mic output and use the same mike for both comms and vids...

Hey mate! Happy to see you there ! I had a little trip on a NC750X (as a passenger) a couple years ago and made a lil' video about, A fun bike, but not the one i'd choose to ride with The DCT gearbox seems fun tho For May maybe you could put a racing gas cap, that could solve the key issue See ya! Peace ✌
@MargusMoto3 жыл бұрын
I had heard about NC750X being dull before, but they have improved it a bit with the latest version. It can be ridden like a hoon. But yeah, it still lacks any kind of character. As for May’s gas cap.. I haven’t decided what to do just yet. A new gas cap does sound reasonable though. Decent ones do cost quite a bit though..
@deadbrainsblo3 жыл бұрын
@@MargusMoto Yeah can be a bit pricey but maybe not as much as changing all the key system on the bike 🤷♂️ But maybe it's still under warranty so in this case I'd bring it to Husqvarna to be fixed 🤔
@MargusMoto3 жыл бұрын
@@deadbrainsblo The dealership did help me get that broken key out of the gas cap, but I paid for the new key. Husky warranty isn’t all that great. I also had to pay for a new brake rotor since apparently that is not covered and I guess it is not their fault the rotor warps in less than 2000km…
@deadbrainsblo3 жыл бұрын
@@MargusMoto Oh ok I see.. that's not great indeed. I guess I'll avoid to buy a Husky as next bike 😮 Great looking bikes but bad after-sales service (consumer-service?) Let's hope everything will be fine for you now 🙂

DCT is typically clunky at low speeds in cars.

I suppose in a 2 ton vehicle it would be less noticeable.. But then again, my car has a CVT, so I wouldn’t know 😊

It’s not only about looking cool. It’s about feeling cool being on the bike. Or simply special. If I don’t get that in a bike I might as well be driving a car.

This DCT is just a big scooter
@MargusMoto9 ай бұрын
By definition it is not. “[a scooter is] a light two-wheeled open motor vehicle on which the driver sits over an enclosed engine with their legs together and their feet resting on a floorboard.”
