I really enjoyed making this cover, actually, and there are a ton of awesome NES tracks that would translate really well to the Genesis sound chip. I was thinking of trying something from Shatterhand for the next Genesis cover.

I've always wanted to get into DefleMask. For one reason or another, Phaze Modulation has always been a strong suit. Couldn't even get it to run, if I recall.

I once covered this track on the SNES (and actually got it sounding somewhat good). Nice cover though, definitely wouldn't be out of place in something like Contra: Hard Corps at all

This is the second comment I've seen like this. I guess I'll have to try VGM Music Maker out. Deflemask was easy enough for me to pick up though, I've only been working with it for three days. Perhaps there's some barrier I just haven't hit yet?

Deflemask is a good tracker and it has a bright future, but, as of yet, VGM_MM is more mature. Given it's discontinued. we can only hope that Deflemask gets polished soon. Either way it was nicely done

Someone is making a very accurate Virtual Synth for the YM2612 and PSG including very little known / undocumented features, like the SID-Like waves on the PSG and the Sintetized Speech for the YM2612. Not sure how accurate it is, and maybe it won't be too good for people who prefer trackers. but there's that.

Never really liked the Genesis sound. NES (Konami) for life. That said, this is well done, but meh all the same.
