As much as I love this game and watching people react to my favorite parts, it's somewhat of a curse knowing all the contradictions and watching people talk themselves out of a correct one.

Let this playthrough be a perfect example of why, if you're ever in trouble with the feds, you should say as LITTLE as possible. The right to remain silent. Just think about this for one second, if any one of these people in this game were simply quiet and said nothing more than "no comment" to every single question, it would have been impossible for Lewis and Lydia to piece anything together about that person, as they would have zero information to "contradict". Also imagine how boring and short the game would have been! Because they can only convict someone for what they said, not what they didnt say. If you're guilty about something, say absolutely nothing about anything, that's the safest thing to do, rather than build an unstable web of lies xD There's an ex federal investigator on youtube that did a video on this too, where he analyzed past cases and what convicted criminals in cases with no real hard evidence, he basically smiled and said "if they had been quiet, we wouldnt have caught them in any lie, saying too much is your downfall, dont say anything" LOL This is also exactly why every single defence attorney in the world opens with "dont say Anything until i'm there with you". Hilariously though, it seems nobody in this game ever realized they could simply NOT answer questions xD

Touché it’s less about stopping criminals from being caught, and more about stopping you from saying anything that could be used to set you up.
