Triglycerides are a type of fat (lipid) found in your blood.
When you eat, your body converts any calories it doesn't need to use right away into triglycerides. The triglycerides are stored in your fat cells. Later, hormones release triglycerides for energy between meals.
If you regularly eat more calories than you burn, particularly from high-carbohydrate foods, you may have high triglycerides (hypertriglyceridemia).
Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance that's found in all the cells in your body. Your body needs some cholesterol to make hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help you digest foods. Your body makes all the cholesterol it needs. Cholesterol is also found in foods from animal sources, such as egg yolks, meat, and cheese.
If you have too much cholesterol in your blood, it can combine with other substances in the blood to form plaque. Plaque sticks to the walls of your arteries. This buildup of plaque is known as atherosclerosis. It can lead to coronary artery disease, where your coronary arteries become narrow or even blocked.

Very good information given by u Dr sahib. I am also suffering from high cholesterol, ldl, vld etc. But my diet is normal from the beginning and my Weight is also normal and active to do the work. Amazing video, lots of insights. I am 29 and since last 5 yrs I have triglycerides issue, although it came down form 290--> 175 but again its high. I have reduced fast food, lot unhealthy , fried food by around 80%. Changed my oil, ghee to cold press, and of slim body type. I do walk everyday -2 kms My qstn is - What else I can do further correct my chlorestrol?

Mere walking is not enough. Jog for 15 mins minimum, start with 2 mins jog and gradually increase up to 15 mins or even further.

Hello Sir, mera cholesterol or triglyceride bhi bda hua h, subha 1hour walk, breakfast fruits, lunch jou or jwar ki roti 1 with vegetables or daal. With lots of salad. Dinner only soup. Mere heart me char blokege hai, doctor ne bypass karane ka bola hai, 90 %blokege hai, abhi me exercise karta hu, vaise mara pachan thik hai aur aisi koi taklif nahi hai, kya mujhe bypass karana chahiye?

oil and gheee is very dangerous for heart health. The other name of oil and ghee is triglycerides. So can you recomend ghee is good for triglycerides patient? Pls clarify topic.

Ghee is not triglycerides, sugar and saturated fats are dangerous not ghee and unsaturated fat.
