The M2-35 missile launcher gives the securiton the (drowned out by explosions) at significantly longer ranges. And a rapid-fire G28 (drowned out by explosions) securiton is deadly at close-range engagements.

He would somewhat agree with the institute. They believe in replacing humanity with synths which I think he would fundamentally disagree with because he has plans for mankind's future in the stars. But that would require Bethesda to have to people with two separate ideologies argue. Which would be a big problem for their writing team.

The Institute does not want to replace humans with synths, if anything, they want to preserve humanity and save it but they are somewhat morally grey. I believe that if Mr. House ever got to meet the Institute, he would love to join them and become the next director and help shape a brighter future for not only his New Vegas but for humanity. I would say that if any faction believes in "replacing humanity with synths" then the closest one would be the Railroad. I do not think they want to replace humans with synths, I think that they just care sightly (or maybe even very) much more about synthetic lives than human ones. P.S I love all the factions :]

Olli Koskiniemi Aside from ferals, ghouls are mentally identical to humans. Super Mutants and Nightkin are a bit more complicated, since so many of them are brain damaged by the FEV or suffering from schizophrenia, but they’re often fine too. Mutants like Marcus and Neal are just as sane and intelligent as a typical human, and also keep the less stable mutants in control.

@@Clorgisclorg Oh yes, indeed he is. But here's the thing. He is an "ideological" tyrant, not a regular one like Caesar. In fact House himself says it when you speak to him. He really couldn't care less about the affairs of the people inside the city of New Vegas, so long as it did not interfere with his plans for jump-starting civilization to its former glory, or even getting humanity to start exploring other worlds to live in. If you have ever seen a "Civilization-type" of game, wherein you can win cultural victories, war victories, etc, Mr. House is going for the "Scientific Victory". The man's intelligence is matched only by his incredible willpower, and let me tell you that being able to predict the nuclear holocaust, preparing for it and being off on the date of said apocalypse by the margin of a single day, is pretty freaking amazing. If the man was real, and I was in that universe, I would side with him. The Legion is the Legion, the NCR is a nothing but the former shadow of what was initially a good government but has now succumbed to bureaucracy and oligarchical corruption with all the land owners, caravaners, and brahmin barons who are paying it off and putting pressure on it (basically it's real-world corrupt government that strong-arms settlements into giving them land, in exchange for "protection"), and the BoS has Mr. House levels of tech, with none of the vision, so they just became ideologically stagnant loot hoarders. It is actually sad we can't convince the BoS of seeing reason and explaining that the best shot at their true purpose can be made by aiding Mr. House, instead the game just let's us "ka-boom" their asses.

@@Clorgisclorg Every faction (Except BoS,Boomers and NCR) sometimes speak of what they could be, House and Caesar's Legion would theoretically have the best evolutions but they all (Except The Followers) have many negative points and ideals (And bad/evil/questionable) morals for a "Good" Courier to side with them "As they are". Independent is also a "Bad" ending, Because it only cuts off the playing/vying factions from control over The Mojave,Rather than helping it/improving it and providing any care for citizens from The Mojave (Or other wastelands). In that sense,Some would pick The Legion, However I personally do not agree or tolerate their current ideals,Practices and behaviour. (Keep in mind that I'm a 16 y.o fully capable male,The "prefered citizen") so even though House is somewhat apathetic,I see him as The canon and "Prefered" ending/faction for New Vegas.
