They kept him engaged in battles, war, skirmishes and he died in Maharashtra. His grave is in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. After that you cannot recall a single Mughal emperor. In 1857, one Bahadur Shah was propped up, only to die a broken man in Burma.

Big fan of Shivaji Maharaj but he is already well known all over India. Why not a local Hero of ladakh? Also why is statue a priority in ecologically sensitive zones? China has already stolen a lot of our land and Ladakhis have been complaining about it for a while.
