I just want to say a few things. First off, thank you for adding on the caption feature to this discussion. As a deaf person, i can't express how deeply appreciative I am of this. 2. I'm greatly enjoying this convo. I get that im only a 31 year old man with not even half the lifetime experiences you both have, but went thru this, i guess you can call it a faith crisis. Not so much to deny Jesus, cause I couldn't shake my experience with Him on that. Just a mere literal rethinking on everything i knew about church and christianity and evangelicism. This rethinking happened about 8 years ago. 8 years into this journey and I'm still finding like Brian says, I've hit a gold mine and i can't get enough. I know I'm called to preach, I've known it since i was 16. Ive done ministry since 17. Traveled the country as an evangelist for 3 years, became a youth pastor, then it all came to a halt. 8 years later I'm rediscovering my passion for church and feeling this fire again to preach and teach. Currently attending seminary I dont know what is next but I'm praying and hoping that things will come around cause this place my wife and I are at feels very stagnant and just workin a job to make rent and no real life goals sucks. When at first it was just preach Jesus and lead people. Idk, im rambling now. Again thank you.

Only just found about you, Jonathan (via Pete Enns). Really enjoying these vodcasts. And BZ has been one of my favorites for a few years now (I was a Jesus Freak back in the day as well). Lord bless your endeavours. I'm an Englishman living in the boonies in Latin America with very little fellowship. This is water to a thirsty soul. Peter

Amazing! I haven't read a book of Brian Zahnd's yet. He's an outlaw and wonderfully transformed! Wondering if he's read Eckhart Tolle? Love that he's an old Jesus freak!
