Conversational Programming in Tormach's PathPilot

Hoping a refresh will be made that talks to the material selection for feeds and speeds recommendation capability, this is a totally awesome capability if i can get it to work - should be super easy - unfortunately for me i can’t change the material - filed is not letting me.

Probably a bit late to the party but I have a request for development. How about adding tabs for point to point milling? Similar to how the prototrak control has. It is often that I wish that I could mill an irregular profile without the need to modle something. Have a toggle in the upper right, like with drill vs tap, for profile vs pocket. Each segment or radius would have a end or continue prompt. This would link each move. Until end was selected. Then move to retract position.

I agree 100%, sometimes I just want to clean up a basic profile... It would be nice to have a point to point tab where maybe even u could fill inn a table with x and y positions...

I love my new Tormach 440 mill. Your videos are very helpful, thank you. I have a question: using the conversational profile tab, how would I radius the corners on just one side of a part? I guess the same question might apply if we were doing a pocket but wanted larger corner radius on two corners but not 4? Is this possible? I appreciate your time and work!

I watched this section but he did not say anything about doing a taperd pipe thread where the thread shrinks in diameter as it goes deeper down the hole.

Tapered pipe threading is currently available only on the lathe version of PathPilot, but not yet not available on PathPilot for the mill. It is on the list of future additions, but we can't promise exactly when it will be added.
