I have now watched all the episodes of Conversing with Islam series and it has been an eye opener! So many questions which I never got an answer for are comprehensively answered here! This is great initiative, there are things which are taught to us which do not make any sense, are just illogical & the mind refuses to accept! The many contradictions which are taught to our students in the name of Islamic Studies creates conflict with in them!! On top of it they are discouraged to ask questions and asked to accept it as faith as it is!! You see traditional narrative and hold of the Mullah in our society is deeply embedded, it is a herculean task to replace it! Majority of people in our country are ill-literate or semi-literate they do not want to read, learn and explore Quran on their own. They leave it to Mullahs so that they read it and then explain it to them! Our education system does not allow critical thinking and instead encourages rote learning, hence the quagmire our society finds itself in! I hope you guys continue with this series and take up really important topics in next seasons so that it can help Guys like me and so many more who have questions in their minds and just cannot find answers! Some of the topics in my humble opinion that you should take up in your next Seasons are 1. Theory of Evolution, unfortunately in the west it presented as fact today and studied as such when in fact every scientist know that it is yet to conclusively proven beyond doubt! This is one of the major reasons which turn people towards atheism especially Muslims who are not able to understand Islam fully and have deep questions in their minds! 2. Jihad, how Islam defines it and what is its role in our daily lives. 3 .Women, their rights and roles in light of Islam, the concept of purdah/hijab and the many questions especially asked in the west regarding them like half weight-age for women in testimony,their inheritance in property as per our traditional narrative . 4. Islamic Laws, are there prescribed punishment for specific crimes like adultery, murder, stealing, corruption, fraud, cheating, lying, dishonesty other kind of financial and moral crimes etc Also most people are interested in topics such as the concept of Qayamat(Day of Judgement) and the events which are foretold to occur and people which are going to appear like the return of Hazrat Essa (A.S), Imam Mehdi, Dajjal and Yajooj/Majooj. What is the difference between your understanding and the traditional narrative regarding it! And then finally some topics which are related directly to our daily lives but people are hesitant to ask about them like what is Namaz, the correct way to approach it, what is Zakat how it should be calculated & distributed, significance of Qurbani. I'm sure you Guys are asked about some really controversial issues which Muslims especially in the West increasingly encounter and questioned on like Homosexuality, Inter-Faith Marriage, Slavery, Blasphemy, how to deal with a Muslim who denounces Islam and becomes Atheist, kindly do some programs on it as well!

Yes you are right. Ghamdi sahab has the ability to think out of the box. But I have a confusion that why ghamdi sahab said there is no mention of imam mehdi in sahih Hadith. That's why he believes in appearance of Jesus at the end but not the appearance of mehdi. If I have said something wrong I apologize.

The word "Mehdi" in Ahadith have been used for "rightly guided" like it has been used as "My companion are mehdiheen (rightly guided)." There is a prophecy of the arrival of a "mehdi" rightly guided person, in authentic Hadith. And Ghamidi Sahab believe that Umar Bin Abdul Aziz was that Mehdi.

میرا ایک اٹلین دوست ھے اس نے۔اسلام پر ایک کتاب لکھی ھے میں نے وہ کتاب پڑھی ھے اس نے حدیث اور سنت کو بھی موضوع بنایا ھے۔کچھ عرصہ پہلے میری نظر سے غامدی صاحب کی کتا ب میزان گزری ھے اس کتا ب کا انگلش ورژن بھی مل گیا۔الیاس بھائی میں نے بڑی قربانی کرکے سنت اور حدیث کی جو تعریف غامدی صاحب کی کا اٹلین زبان میں ترجمہ کروا کر اس کو بھیجا وہ پڑھ کر حیران ھو گیا اور بہت پسند کیا اور مجھے غامدی کا پتہ چلا کہ وہ کیا۔چیز ھیں اللہ ان اپنا فضل کرے ۔پھر اس نے مجھے سے کتاب مانگی میں اس کو بھیج دی۔ترجمہ انگلش سے اٹالین میں کروایا ھے۔واقعی غامدی صاحب۔بہت منفرد ھیں۔
