Simply superb! I struggled all my life with these questions which are mentioned at 34:00 onwards and got the reply over 23 years ago by meeting a regular guy on one of my flights who convinced me to read Quran myself and understand what I was saying in namaz! I think that guy was the intervention of Allah to get me the answers I desperately was seeking. Few years later I stumbled upon Ghamdi sb videos & articles and it has never been the same. Hamza you are spot on asking these questions. Hasan is the next scholar to watch & listen to. We've had enough of the dogmatic & traditional religion being shoved down our throats. Bottomline, read Quran yourself. I am watching all your videos in this series!

Asak, respected Hasan Ilyas & Hamza Ali Abbasi bhai. Many thanks for making such a good program utilizing your lockdown opportunity. I can very well relate myself with Hamza Abbasi when it comes to questions in my mind about Islam & life. I am from Mumbai India working in Saudi Arabia. From my childhood I used to get certain questions in my mind which were never satisfactory answered until I heard Javed Ahmed Ghamidi Sahab few year ago on a facebook post posted by my cousin brother. . Then I heard him a lot & benefited from his video clips uploaded on FB and KZbin. I am truly indebted to Ghamidi Sahab for making this great contribution in understanding Islam. Now you both gentlemen with this program are making another attempt in clearing some questions in our mind in a very nice & fun way. I have always felt that the only problem with Javed Ahmed Ghamidi Sahab is that his Urdu is too high for a person who hasn't gone to Urdu medium school. e.g. In India most of our new generation is going to English medium school therefore I am not able to share his videos with many of my relatives & friends because they won't be able to understand such a high level of spoken Urdu. When my wife see me listening to Ghamidi Sahab she joins me but then will get up saying "bahot high Urdu bolte hain, kuch samajh nahi aata" :), she is also an English medium student. I have also bought Ghamidi Sahab's book Meezan last year from Amazon India, but again I must confess that I am not able to follow the language 100%. Its too high level for me too. Although I agree that its my fault that I am not able to understand that level of Urdu. But in this program Hamza & Hasan you both have done a great job by simplifying at least some of the difficult Urdu words. Please keep doing that (for our sake) and Ilyas bhai kindly if you can keep making your program simple to understand so that it can appeal to masses and more people may benefit out of it. Once again thank you so much for this initiative. Many thanks to both of you & to all involved in making this program. My salaams, regards & duas to you both and please convey my heartfelt regards to Ghamidi Sahab, May Allah give him long & healthy life, Aameen. Jazakallah Khair & Keep it up.

What ppl don’t realise is that the collection of Hadith is an academic/scholarly text. Two things need to work for the Hadith to be effective. The layman cannot pick up scholarly work and start saying, look the Hadith says it. Next, the scholars need to do continuous and unbiased work on the Hadith. The maulvis that we have had throughout history have used the Hadith to maintain their monopoly on the religion. In effect, they’ve become the very rabbis that Jesus (pbuh) condemned in the temple.

A common educated muslim is sick and tired of firqa wariat in islam and that they will only listen to scholars who openly denounce any form of firqa bandee in islam. Kindly Hamzah study Ghulam Ahmed Pervaz with an open mind, you’ll be amazed. He never rejected Hadith, he only emphasized that Hadith should be accepted under the light of Quran. If any Hadith is contradicting Quran then it’s not the saying of prophet Mohammed (S). He was labeled as munqar-e-hadith and banished from mainstream so called Islam. Our founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam use to get education of Islam from Ghulam Ahmed Pervaz (it’s a fact). After such a long time Ghamdi sahib is another breath of fresh air. May Allah keep him safe and healthy...Ameen!

Here i'm sharing my point of view on example Hassan Sb. discussed if you are curious somehow (and yeah I know they discussed not to prove something right or wrong and was a GOOD discussion, so here i am discussing only) Hadith in which prophet pbuh clearly mentioned that if you do it inetentionally it is a clear act of takabbur (showing off), It itself becomes an act of showing off since its a call of prophet himself. Jaabir ibn Sulaym said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: Beware of wearing ones lower garment below the ankles, because this is a kind of showing-off, and Allaah does not love showing-off." (Regarded as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2722). And when we refer to this hadith of bukhari (5784):Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said Allah will not look, on the Day of Resurrection at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit. On that Abu Bakr said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! One side of my Izar hangs low if I do not take care of it." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'You are not one of those who do that out of conceit." As mentioned in this hadith, Abu Bakr R.A. is somehow worried as he knew what is the punishment for the same, therefore he asked the prophet whether it is applicable to him as well since he was not doing this act intentionally. Then prophet tranquilizes him by saying that 'You are not one of those who do that out of conceit'. Now can we really say that Abu Bakr R.A. was trying to justify himself!?, that since he is not keeping his torso above the ankle and that too when he is not doing that intentionally, and out of any intention of showing off ???

The whole problem lies in Ghamidi's views. He is a modernist who tries to explain Islam in an apologetic way to fit the modern secular liberal feminist paradigm. Islam is an absolute truth and we need not compromise on any of it whatsoever. In order to understand how some people today understand islam from a liberal perspective, we need to deconstruct liberalism. Liberalism is a modern project whose philosophy can not be proven from first principles. To get a better picture of how liberalism warps some people's understanding of Islam I suggest you to listen to Brother Daniel Haqiqatjou and Mohammad Hijab. Please bring them on or go and talk to them if you want to know the truth.
