In this DIY project video we are going convert a car alternator to a permanent magnet alternator.
In the previous project we built a wind turbine out of a truck alternator. Not a big sucess as these alternators are not made to work at slow speed. One of the soultion we though of is to replace the traditional rotors with permanent magnet one as they not only need energy to magnetize but envolves a bunch of inefficient components like carbon brushes and slip rings.
So in this project video we are going to conver a 12v car alternator into a permanent alternator to act as a generator or a powerful brushless motor, time to find out so lets get started.
More information about the material and designs visit the instructables article:

There is free energy and free energy generators. Yours aren't working. For your personal use and not for commercial purposes, you can build one that is located at the national patent office in Alexandria, Virginia or at international patent offices in Paris, France or in Geneva, Switzerland. With the deep state practically expropriated, there is no longer any need to fear that they will come in with hired killers and take you off. Do your own research.

OMG you are a bot!!! Right? The only thing that is genius about these Indians is they have mastered the method of duping stupid people. The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted from one form of energy to another. This means that a system always has the same amount of energy, unless it's added from the outside.

Nice video! Reduce the battery voltage if you want to decrease losses, the stator windings of an alternator are designed to operate at high currents / low voltages if you use high voltages you will need to increase the frequency in the inverter to increase the speed and thus the back emf. If the inverter does not reach such high frequencies all you are doing is waste the energy heating the windings. So you can add a higher load to increase efficiency using high voltage or if you want to run the motor with no load you need to decrease voltage to increase efficiency.

there IS a load on the motor: the propeller. it is doing work to move air and thus draws power, even if it is stationary. This explains the RPM as well: if you were running at no load then you would be close (ignoring internal motor friction/losses) to the max RPM, but because torque is being applied to the motor you need high current in the winding so the RPM (and back EMF) has to reduce to allow for the current.
@kingcosworth2643
@kingcosworth2643 2 жыл бұрын
I think the main problem is their rotor design. With low magnetic coupling, back emf is low so current is high. Plus it been an all steel 'ring' the induced magnetic field in the rotor will be doing all sorts of unwanted things. The motors in the Tesla's are a full induction motor with no magnets in the rotor, the specific shape of the steel rotor gets an induced magnetic field in it which becomes the repulsive magnet, quite clever actually.

For a permanent magnet synchronous motor the ideal supply voltage at any given rpm will be about the same voltage as what the motor would generate if spun at that same rpm. At the ideal voltage the motor current will be in phase with the voltage and the power factor will be highest and the current draw the lowest.

hello if you want to use it as a generator, it is more useful if you connect the coils in a star. It is as simple as desoldering the ends of the coils and connecting the ends of all the coils to a common point. So it would be 20v, or less kv if you want to use it as a motor. Good job and keep it up

Try using a super capacitor through the brushes from the output, should be able to use some residual magnetism in the rotor to start up the magnetic field, could be that a universal motor would work best seeing that the rotor in those are silicon steel, keeping more residual magnetism than a starter core, mostly from cast iron. Might be wrong as I am only from a mechanical engineering background. 👨‍🔧🦾

The free energy must be a collapsing Ether field producing electrical transients. Turning car generators into windmills is not entirely free energy. Converting a car alternator to produce free energy can be done by anyone with some basic knowledge of how electricity works. The process is simple and only requires a few supplies that can be easily found at any hardware store. With a little elbow grease, you can turn your car into a green energy machine that produces clean, renewable power for your home or business.

Since you mentioned an unexplained loss of power in the alternator rebuild video, I have been wondering whether or not you placed the twenty four magnets correctly on the rotor. Regarding the three stator windings: I think the stator coils are seperated by 120 degrees. If you placed the magnets as follows would that produce 120 degrees of seperation for each phase of the 3 phases? Let's see: 24 magnets /3 phases = 8 available per phase. Should it be 8N 8S 8N? Doesn't seem right…too many Norths… How about 4N4S4N4S as the following: NNNN SSSS NNNN SSSS NNNN SSSS. This seems right to me..there are equal norths and souths. I think your existing sequence for the permanent magnets is: 2N2S….etc. as follows NNSSNNSSNNSSNNSSNNSSNNSS.
