It keeps asking me update the firmware to latest one ending 114 i think.. Have been downloading firmware file on app for 40 mins and it is still only about 1/4 of the way on downloading the file. Have you updated your firmware? What version are you on.. should it take this long? After this it still has to install it (wish i could just dload the file and put it on SD and update it that way)

why do you need an sd card in this camera.. i get recordings w motion on alarm.. but sd card capacity never decreases

Would have been great for Off Grid .. BUT NOT.. Apparently no way can't connect to your phones hotspot? Seems a router is not enough either, must be a router with internet connection. Also though they have an android app, they won't let the app run on a Chromebook. Also Most IP cameras host a web client, not this one.

Yeah it's a great camera, but works only for standard internet situations with a normal router.

Screwed with this thing for hours and can't get it to connect to my phone. Won't scan qr code either. Tried SN and that doesn't work either. Cloud edge is useless. Chinese junk. Sending this crap back to Amazon

Mine still works. One of the better cams for sure ... at long as you get it running ... which was easy in my case. Did you try to reset and connect again?

I was having issues and deleted the app and reinstalled and It fixed the issue and it loaded great after that

Sorry to hear. I love this cam. It's still holding up nicely ... never had any issues at all and it's quite far away from the router. Maybe you got a lemon or you are trying with 5g wifi or at least you are on a different wifi with your phone while connecting ...
