I hate when people get, "free samples", from the soda fountain. They end up putting germs around the nozzles, selfishly blocking traffic flow around the fountain, and it's also low-key stealing. I'm glad this thief was caught. I would also recommend seeing if the cashiers can be trained in some form of self defense when confronting thieves like this cashier did. Some thieves, may be willing to fight back over something so little and petty, despite the overwhelming amount of evidence that is presented before themselves.

half the time soda machines are out of syrup, not the right mix, or have new flavors. its fine for people to try a bit of soda before purchasing. the price loss is negligible and is not stealing at all. Relax karen.
