I don't care if it's 11 years old, still one of my favorite fan films. Dead sexy glamor shots (too good to be called beauty shots),The easter eggs are the decorative icing especially the Jar Jar-prise in the scrap yard, all with more personality than anything craped out by the big budgets at paramount to date.

Well, last night, KZbin gave me this video and I was absolutely blown away!! This was amazing! I can't believe this has been out for seven + years! I always thought the 1st Enterprise was the BEST Enterprise. The people who redid the TV show effects could learn a lot from this video. The angles were breathtaking! Wow this film was awesome on many levels. Great tribute to the Apollo landings and Space: 1999. Was that a JJ Enterprise I saw in the Pick your part space ship junkyard? haha Nice mention of ( Chelsey ) Bonestell the well know artist who painted so many incredible space scenes found in so many great scifi films. Haha Mr Scott had spotters to verify each warp engine had started up. Can you imagine what an enemy would think when it scans the exterior of the Enterprise and they see we use the leg of an enemy to make a lamp out of? Oh and NEVER press the flashing red indicator button that says ABORT.

Holy hell. That was brilliant!! Beautiful!! Seeing the original Enterprise so lovingly rendered with such precision and love. And the new lighting just gave her that extra pop she always needed. Almost made me cry. Thank you so much for the time and massive effort you and your team put into this. And thank you for the respect you paid to cannon. As a 50 year Star Trek fan, I am sickened by the direction Discovery has taken the franchise. This film gives me hope that fans like you might still somehow be able to inspire and influence CBS to restore Trek to the glory it once had. Please make more of these. It’s like water to a man in the desert. We fans all over the world need this!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
@ponyhorton42955 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! There was really no team, just myself creating the movie. Of course, I certainly had help from my friends who appear in Voice Over, such as James Cawley, Homer Hickam, Ralph Miller, Tim Russ, Ken Smith, and Randall Libero. Regarding DISCOVERY, we'll have to agree to disagree. I am a TREK fan since I first started watching in 1966 at age 8, and I first began my VFX career at Van der Veer Photo Effects in 1978 working under Hugh Wade, the man who created the actual sparkle effects from the Transporters in the 1960's, and I LOVE Discovery! TREK need not slavishly follow the canon we've seen so far to still be TREK. Give it a chance. It's worth it.

No matter how advanced starships may become, nothing will ever replace a Constitution Class Starship - Except perhaps a refit. One thing they must never do though is ever get rid of the Captains chair from the Original Constitution Class, that is what makes it unique. Better than the Excelsior Class, Ambassador Class - Though it bore more of a resemblance to the Constitution Class - Galaxy Class and Sovereign Class. None can hold a candle to a Constitution Class.
