I've been cooking since 1975 and I can confirm your statement. This is the best tool I've owned for cooking since. There are people saying that Instant Pot is for people who can't cook and I would whip many of them in the kitchen.Instant Pot is just that. A tool. A kitchen tool. I've never cooked with the Meat/Stew function. Next time I cook a big meat portion, I will try it. Thank you for the video.

Just about to start this. The only thing I'm adding differently is mixing in 1/2 cup of coffee in with the stock at the bottom. I used to do this when cooking it in the slow cooker so I'm sure it'll work here too. Something about it really brings out the flavor

Howdy Belinda. I was confused with your video. At 6 min you first talk about how long to cook, lid is on, then second edit adds another 55 min. I see that it was only once, but then go u open the lid and the grill is not below the meat to help you remove it. Thanks for sharing,less confused after 4 times watching it. Also do you have on low pressure or high pressure? The instant pot has a two Choices, also low normal, more?😮
@AllAboutTheBanks Жыл бұрын
Sorry you were confused. In an edited I took the trivet out because I wanted the meat to be submerged in the juice for a while before I removed it. The pressure was on high and it cooked for 55 minutes.

And we’ve been married 34 years! lol It looks like your videos will help me stay in the kitchen happily feeding my husband. Thanks! You’re a Class Act! 😅 Also, how many pounds was your pork butt roast and does the weight of it determine the cooking time in the pressure cooker? The one I have is 8.5 pounds. Thanks! I’m subscribing today. 😋 blessings and bon appétit.! ❤🙏🏾🙏

Looks yummy! I notice when you opened the cover when done, the trivet was gone that was there when you put the cover on. I was trying to determine trivet or no trivet? That made it confusing! Lol
@AllAboutTheBanks3 жыл бұрын
We realized that the meat wasn’t as tender if it was on the trivet because the liquid did not cover it so before we finished filming we had taken the trivet out. You are very observant.
