Saw this 1 year late but i must add that chinese pomfret is expensive not because it tastes better than white pomfrets. It Is because it is more “meaty” with more rounded body shape. Personally i prefers the texture of white pomfrets - even the small ones (which you typically deep fry).

I for one am so grateful for his videos. (I bought pomfrets that I don’t know how to cook!) Watch it at 2x speed if you’re in too much of a hurry to indulge in some humour.
